Its a 4 days weekend for me, first week of school is done with, and I love this weekend after the first week back. Yesterday Katie and I went shopping and I HIT THE JACKPOT! I got sooo much stuff for about $200- 2 pairs of clogs, 2 pairs of pants, 3 shirts, rubber stamps and some stickers, a velvet scarf. Plus, we had a BLAST!
Found out that one of my former students is on BROADWAY- in a Chorus Line. I'd love to get to NYC and see him. His name is Bryan Knowlton and I think its fantastic! He was a great dancer, no better than great, and so its excellent that he has made it that far, and I'm sure, he'll get even further.
Not much else planned this weekend besides playing, doing some cleaning (that's today) and one day we have to clean up all the summer "stuff" at my mother-in-laws. Out comes the boat, the swimming raft, the chairs...fall will be here soooo soon.
The photo is from Vegas- at the Paris casino. Since its a long weekend and a little trip would be fun, I included it. Bon voyage from the real world for a couple of days of rest, relaxation and change of pace. (Funny how 1 week of feels like I never had a long summer break.)
