A Few Views

Thought I would share  a couple of  views of my screen porch-my second favorite room in the house.
We keep it closed up all winter, and this spring when we opened it up, I decided it was time to refinish the floor.  You can see the condition the floor was in above.
Its been like this for several years now, just getting worse and worse- and I am in a spruce it up mood lately, SO
I rented a sander, sanded it down, and then used porch paint to paint it a light grey.
Here's the finished floor and room.
Of course I finally got this together last Sunday, just minutes before the skies opened up and it not only rained, but the temperature dropped 30 degrees (Fahrenheit). So I have yet to get out and use the space, but hopefully today the sun will be back out and it is suppose to warm up again. Plus we really did need the rain, so in the end it all works out perfectly.
And with this rain I haven't been very productive in the evenings. I am taking Tracy Fletcher King's on-line class right now. It started the other night and it is called Delicious Paint, and I will have some art from that to show you one of these days. The class is all about sketching and water coloring, and I can use some water color lessons for sure. I've watched the first couple videos and have done a bit of fruit and veg drawing. It is actually quite relaxing and fun!
But for today, nothing too exciting on the art front, just a few more Gelli prints I made over the past weekend.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Love the porch. Great job. I did our upstairs floor with porch paint because they were so old, but too delicate to resand...Fun mono-printing. We will have to chat about Tracey on Friday. Good for you taking that class! See ya soon. xox
