Lizzie's Turn Today

Hi everyone. It is another hot and humid day here in my neck of the woods. They are saying maybe some thunderstorms later. It feels really like summer now, and I have slipped into my lazy summer mode. Ha-ha.
So today I have another journal page for Art Journal Journey. It is being hosted by Valerie and Susi and this month's theme is post and postage.
So today I am back to my on going story with Lizzie and Wally. It might be a bit sappy but I am having fun creating this little letter writing tete-a-tete  between these 2 people.
So my page started with a Brushos background.  I then outline the latter and used some watered down white acrylic paint over that letter area. I then used a black and red Sharpie, along with a white pen, in layers to write out the letter.
Stamped images are from B Line Designs. I painted the flowers and added the postage stamp.
And here's some summery snap shots from last weekend's boating trip.

What an appropriate name!

And my dog loves the boat.  Especially when we are going fast! I think of this one as pure joy, because dogs live in the moment and when they love something, they love it with all their being.
I hope your day is pure joy too!
