Time After Time

So it is a very very hot and humid day here in New Hampshire. And a crazy morning too with too many phone calls and texts and emails. E-gads. I hope this isn't a bad omen to how my day or worst yet my week will go.
Here's kind of an eclectic page that I am linking to Art Journal Journey. This month  is being hosted by Yvonne and the theme is time.  You should stop by and check out all the cool journal pages being posted.
I used this stenciled background (stenciled on a printed page) and stamped clocks all along the border. You can see it better in this close up.
Then I painted the tree, added the flowers, the stamped bird, the painted snow and also used this cut out image of the boy ready to go skating. I found the garden phrase on a piece of junk mail, and had the little squirrel die cut on my table. I even stamped a couple of mini-snow flakes.
So I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We did some boating, went to dinner with some friends, and I spent all day Saturday doing some much needed cleaning. Every now and again you need to pull  things out and really clean behind them along with picking up the clutter piles. Things are looking much better now, and maybe in the next week or 2 my husband will get the living room ceiling finished off and I can put that part of my house put back together. Its been an all summer project (and I was hoping for 2 weeks-how ignorant was I about that?).
Anyhow, nothing else for me today.
Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day!
