A Trip to the Aquarium

A few water creatures for today, swimming and bobbing in their tanks.
Beautiful diversity. It takes all kinds.
They all look like they have their own personality.
And some views look like art pieces to me.
Oh the look of self contentment.
If this was a movie you could their squawking.
And they somehow all manage to survive together in a big tank together. I recently read a book about octopus and a lot of the book was from info they learned here at the New England Aquarium. Its one of my favorite places to visit and I hope the photos can show you why.
So are you all having a nice weekend? Yesterday was a much needed home day for me. I watched 4 episodes of Indian Summer, wrapped some gifts and baked some cookies. Last night we put on the Star Wars IV-A New Hope-dvd and watched it. I really want to see the new Star Wars movie but think I might wait until the opening weekend has died down a bit. I was looking online for tickets for a morning show today (like at 9 AM) and the only seats left in the theater were in the front row.
Amazing.
That's all for me today. Enjoy your day and thanks for visiting.

Although I've been to several aquariums in my travels, I've never had the pleasure of visiting this one. There are none that I know of in Kansas, at least in south central KS. I can see why this would be so important to you. The photos you shared were incredible. I am also in awe that so many species can coexist in one large tank. Wouldn't it be nice if humans could say the same?

Hope your weekend was great. Here's to a lovely week ahead.

Indian Summer is such a great show...didn't want it to end!
Those are some of the most colorful fish I have seen = WOW.
Octopuses/pi are so fascinating to me as is all sea life and nature actually.
It is a marvel how peaceful they all are too.
