Second on the Second

Its March 2- so time for Second on the Second.

Check out all the links at  Elizabeth's blog Altered Book Lover.
Today, since I am fresh home from my trip to New Mexico, I thought I would show you some views of my past New Mexico.travel journals.  These pages are from my 2013 and 2014 journals, as I was lucky enough to visit  my friends their both of those years. I couldn't go in 2015 as my both my mom and husband had some major health issues and needed me around.

Lots of stamping, cutting out from those free travel magazines, and other bits and pieces I picked up along the way. It is fun for me to look back to get ideas and not copy what I've already done in my most recent travel journal- the one that is not finished and that I am working on right now.
Hope you enjoyed these views.
And thanks for visiting.

Wow, Erika, I'm so glad you shared these, because your blog is quite new to me. I see you were at the Georgia O'Keefe Museum. I suspect you loved it as much as I did.

I saw your journaling on the sand hill cranes. It's ironic because I was in Nebraska in February a few years ago and the sand hill cranes stopped there on their way south. I saw hundreds, maybe thousands of them.

I really appreciate you sharing this Second look on the 2nd, because this was so much fun to see places you visited in years past when you were there. I'm sure we'll see this latest journal soon, too. I was especially impressed with the Taos entry with all the birds. Great collage.

So cool! This is the kind of travel journal I want to do some day. Did you bring the book with and fill it as you traveled or do it when you returned home?

Too fun. Did you visit Bandelier, we did and I loved it there except for the baby rattlesnake on the trail! Nice travel journal. The three ring is great because you can add any time you want and easy on me the lefty. xox

Great to see these pages of what I know were wonderful trips.
I always have the best intentions with travel journals and it doesn't seem to come together for me very often.
What you've created are treasures for sure Erika!
