New York Photos

Last weekend I was away on a little jaunt. Today I have a few assorted photos  that I took on this jaunt in the Hudson River Valley in New York state.
It was a really beautiful place. I definitely want to go back sometime and explore the area some more.
Thanks to my brother-in-law for the suggestion!
These photos are in no particular order. The only qualification is that I liked them. :)
Hope you do too.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Hope the rest of your weekend is great and you don't get too much rain.

Today we have a bit rain and it is colder than the last wonderful summerdays.

Sweet photos! That outdoor cafe reminds me of pictures I have seen from Europe. :)

What a lot of wonderful photos you shared with us Erika!
Those grapes sure look perfect and mighty fine wine bottle collection too ;-)
That Locust tree photo reminded me about our neighbor's huge tree in their front yard. Late fall early winter those pods are all over our yard and jammed up against the curb. We fondly call it the "poo pod tree" LOL. One year I tried to make something "good" out of the pods by spray painting them but alas it was a bust. They do have some great seeds and thank goodness they don't sprout all over or at least not yet.
Oh my...I got a little carried away with my story hah.
To answer your question about Colin on the AT. He just picked up his second to last mail drop in Rangeley ME. Only a couple more weeks to go and he'll reach Katahdin.
We got a nice rain storm that is supposed to at bring some lower humidity for a few days. Our construction got a little complicated as life can be sometimes.
Hope you had a nice weekend.
I am going to go back and click on your photos for another lookie look. Those painted wooden figures would have really stopped me in my tracks!
