Art Look Back-Part 2

So yesterday I started showing you SOME of my 2016 artful adventures. Here you go for the rest of my arty look back, if you're BRAVE enough (or maybe bored enough ha-ha!)
I like the combination of stamping, doodling or photos on this summer pages.

And using ice cream spoons to make faces too.

And I must remember this half and half paint technique.
And photographs can be reproduced as art-even if this is still a lousy photo.
And September brought me back to school.

And this fall I drew things I never thought I could

 Like cars and microscopes.
And hands.

And leaves. Though on all of these a little more practice is called for.

And how just making a colorful mess can be turned into a finished journal page.
A new journal making technique!
Some collage too.

A few monsters. I need to remind myself to use a printed background more!
 And a wild turkey!
Light on these dark days.
And a few other pages too, if for no other reason than I liked them.

Wow, and that's not all I created. Good or bad, it was a productive year.
And here's one of my top 5 pieces.
Just because it makes me happy.
And thanks to Valerie and Susi for the great challenges at AJJ, plus a chance to host. As well as the teams at Try It On Tuesday and Moo Mania too! And finally thanks Elizabeth for hosting T for Tuesday and also Second on the Second! It was lots and lots of fun!
Wishing everyone of you a Happy New Year. See you in 2017!

Now I looked at all your collected pictures - also from your last post - and I find them all stunning! It was a very creative year! It is a great idea to look back and decide what technique you want to repeat for the next year - I too make sometimes the same, and it is a good feeling to look at all the pictures we have created.
I wish you a Happy New Year 2017!

I have to admit I was extra excited about your Iceland trip and all you shared.
Extra thank you for that.
Arm chair traveling is something I never tire of.

Enjoyed looking at your retrospective. Loved the image of Nubble Light. Love York. when I was in my 20s, used to stay at the Anchorage and hang out on Long Sands.

Sorry you missed Doctor Who. Looks like BBC America will let you watch the full episode online. You have to sign up. http://www.bbcamerica.com/shows/doctor-who/full-episodes/christmas-specials/episode-13-the-return-of-doctor-mysterio

Wow -- I am so impressed that you have found the time and energy to do so much in such a busy year. The birds on the ice block and your "Off to Iceland" particularly call to me but there is so much to love here!

You were far more creative this year than I. Everything you created was artistic and much of it was quite diverse. I like how you use your journal as a memory calendar, too.

I enjoyed your trips you took this year, including visiting the southwest and Iceland. What a fun time you must have had.

Thank you for being such a wonderful participant at T time and Second on the 2nd. You set the bar high when you hosted AJJ, too.

Thanks for taking us through this retrospective and allowing us to re-share these memories with you. Have an enjoyable and safe holiday. Happy 2017!

Oh gosh, Erika, this is absolutely fantastic. I tried to pick a few favourites and was struggling but in the end I'll go for the first because it is so amusing, and the last, Home, because it is so touching and creatively made.
