Mostly Green

Hi everyone. I've been busy finishing up some summer projects. Now that I'm back to school and the weather is changing its got me thinking about different things to try and to work on.
Guess my brain is no longer in summer mode. :)
But first, let me show one of those finished projects.
Do remember that I was making a collaged board book with travel brochures from my extended weekend to The NY Finger Lakes?  If not, no matter, but here's the links to what I've shown you already. (Saturday Play and Scissors and Glue Equal Collage).
I had 2 pages left to wrap up and here they are.

Although I used other colors besides green; there is a lot of green, so I am going to link up to Yvonne's colorful challenge over at Art Journal Journey. My color today is green!
And being back at work means that Friday's are now more exciting than when I was home in the summer. And its just about the weekend. :) No plans right now but I am hoping to get back to my attic cleaning and organizing project. Now that would be a good project to finish for sure. :)
Hope you enjoy your weekend.
And sending good thoughts and a wish for staying safe and dry for anyone in the path of hurricane Irma.

Wonderful board book. Such a cool memory of the trip.I'm not looking forward to the green being taken over by yellows, reds, and oranges or the cooler weather. Still trying to hang onto Summer. Have a great Friday

Wow.. both pages are great ! You captured all what was memmorable on this trip !
So lovely made! You are a master of free collage mixed with handdrawing - this is not easy - but you let it look so easy! A UNIQUE style Erika!
Happy weekend - hope you can relax! Have fun!
Here it is sunny but chilly -- I will go to a big fleamarket tomorrow and am invited to a birthday party on Sunday- so weekend is full again.
Time flies!
THANK YOU FOR TWO FANTASTIC PAGES
linked to AJJ again! Thank you for all your support Erika!♥

Your journal pages are fabulous. I'm really quite impressed and loved seeing how you interpreted your time away. Both your fabulous art and ephemera from your trip play a great role in these pages. I take it you bought some solmate socks! Love that you added the band that came with them.

Love the greenness of the pages! Great way to save those vacation memories. I always think of green when I think of the northeast.

Thanks for asking about my daughter. She is fine and had no flooding in her
yard. In fact she will be visiting me the end of the month. Yay! I hope that we together can tackle my attic.

Fabulous pages Erika, I love all the detail elements you add to , they are always so interesting to look at.
My colour is green as well today, but I am thrilled to see many colours added as this is how we see our colourful world for ourselves..
