Vacation Is Over

Hello everyone. Vacation always fly right by and now  it's another Monday and another week begins. Back to work again.  Hope all of you had a fantastic weekend and those of you in the cold will see some warmer weather this week.
Right now they are saying we could get some winter weather ourselves this week; I guess at least it is not suppose to be bitterly cold but we have the potential for a big storm on Wednesday.   Sad face for me right now. The spring weather we had for much of the last few weeks would make it a lot easier to get moving this morning for sure.
So I had  fun weekend. My husband, myself and my daughter, as well as 4 others went north for our colleges playoff ice hockey game. We had a great time and the crowd was really into the game.  And our team won by only by 1 point so  it was an exciting game to watch.
This guy in my photo is in the entrance to the arena and he was dressed for the game also. I thought he looked pretty funny! A smile on a Monday morning never hurts.

And last week I had a productive art week. Thought I would join in the fun over at Tag Tuesday. The theme is Spring Flowers. I made this tag using a vintage Hero Arts stamp and stamping my tag with it several times. Then I colored the image with some watercolor markers and some Gel pens. Then I stamped the quote (Artistic Outpost). I really feel that way right now. Finally I added the little gold paper strips and used a watercolor crayon to add some color to the background.
I added my tag to a page in my new Nature Journal, which is a Dina Wakely Journal that contains pages made of various materials. This page is white canvas fabric, and I decided to leave it white, but I added some plain white tape first. It might not be the most exciting background but I really wanted to showcase my tag.
Wishing you all a good start to the week. Thanks for visiting!

Always sad when vacation is over. On the bright side, do you get a Spring break in April as schools here in MA get? Both the bear mascot and your happy tag made me smile this morning. Not looking forward to Wed-Thurs weather this week. Maybe it will blow out to sea. Have a great day!

Glad you had a nice week off and a fun weekend as well. Thanks for the congrats on our (finally) VA house sale. Yes, it does look like we may be getting another winter storm this week and thankfully we did not receive any damages from last Friday's blast. That said, there are many folks who are still dealing with the aftermath of damages and power outages.

Sounds like the final weekend was not to be missed. Fun with family and friends during spring break is always a good thing.

Your tag is beautiful, and I love the Monet quote. I really LOVE how you used the watercolor crayons and pencils. Simply fabulous coloring.

Great that your team won the game and I loved the funny bear! Your tag is so utterly beautiful and a really clever idea to put it onto a canvas page in the Dina Wakley Journal...I can imagine that this canvas pages are not so loved in this DWJournals.
Happy new week, hope the predicted storm will NOT come! My fingers crossed for you!

I love this tag! Very spring. So, are you in the noreaster path? I was thinking about you -- the swath looked pretty big on the weather map. We're due for snow today/tomorrow. Hope it is oversold!
