He hung around the area a few weeks in the summer until the conservation department trapped and relocated him further south to his normal range. I was glad to hear they relocated him instead of shooting him. You have some great photos of him though. However, I remember once when I was on a consulting job for a mining company, I was in Wyoming, staying in an on-site trailer. I had been warned there were bears around, but didn't think much about it. One morning I woke to a loud noise to discover a bear rummaging through the trash can outside. Thankfully there was no food in the can, so s/he quickly gave up and went off looking for unsuspecting campers or better trash cans in the area.

Since I'm so new to your blog, I am so glad you posted this. I am in love with this story of the sugar bear that refused to leave.

Thanks for using this post as your second look on the 2nd.Bleubeard and Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149710375520733752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1034532151955863306.post-38017553669685516902016-04-02T11:44:54.742-04:002016-04-02T11:44:54.742-04:00I have heard of scary bear stories but this one lo...I have heard of scary bear stories but this one looks so gentle and cuddly.
