Somehow I got out of Sears with one they didn't remove on a lovely pink Land's End sweater (on sale, no less!). And when I got home that was on. Well, I didn't have the tool but I had a hammer, so I hammered in the morning, all over the sweater until it broke apart and got ugly black dye on the sweater. Fortunately, I hadn't dumped the receipt and the folks at Sears were glad to exchange it. But boy...

Terrific story and I love how you conveyed it in your art!

Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1034532151955863306.post-19747876274799521922017-01-16T17:00:07.778-05:002017-01-16T17:00:07.778-05:00Great story and a mega-fun journal page to remembe...Great story and a mega-fun journal page to remember it by, and what nice kids you are teaching. I think maybe you are a good teacher.
I've got the same question as Elizabeth, as I don't think you can take these tags off without the proper removing-tool (although real shop-lifters must know how to do it). sheila 77https://www.blogger.com/profile/00698767195924308373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1034532151955863306.post-10627706366272738852017-01-16T15:37:18.656-05:002017-01-16T15:37:18.656-05:00It makes me wonder what the tags are for. If they'd use the money spent on the tag technology to hire enough staff.... Thanks for telling this fun story at AJJ, and hope you have now had the tag removed. I don't think they have ink-filled ones here, at least I have never seen them.
