Hi everyone. Happy Thursday. Let me try this post again since I thought I had it scheduled for today. However, when it showed up Monday, I was a little surprised. I always double check when I schedule a post, but I guess sometimes even double checking isn't enough. 😏
Today I want to share a page for Wendy's Moments In Time challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I think someone has done a page and mentioned how a photograph captures a moment in time. Good thing so many of us have the same good ideas. Grin. 😉I don't know who this family is, but I happened to have this old photo in my stash. I decided to use it.
I used a small 6x6 inch piece of paper that I tore up to and then glued down. Afterwards I inked the edges of my page. I also used an old piece of a school filmstrip, a gold metallic paper key, some washi tape, and AAll & Create clock and a scrap of red edged tag paper that was sitting on my table. I stamped and fussy cut the 2 words.
Since I've been spending the week getting some chores accomplished, I don't have much else to share. Once again I'll keep my post short. Have a super rest of your day, and thanks for visiting my blog.
A lovely Collage. I admire your artwork. Indeed there are many things to find: new and old together.

This is such a nice page for memories captured in a moment of time. Love the green and cream. Hope your cold weather isn't too terribly bad. I wouldn't mind some of it down here! xoxo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art journal page.
ReplyDeleteLovely page!
ReplyDelete...yes, a photograph does capture a moment in time.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely piece, Erika.
ReplyDeleteA lovely page...I love those vintage black and white photos.
ReplyDeleteI love it
ReplyDeleteI really like the way the old-style writing peeks out from behind the torn edges of the green patterned paper--kind of like peeling off old wallpaper in an old house and finding surprises underneath (which we've experienced). And then the old photo and the clock face--times keeps on ticking and happy memories are a treasure to cherish.
ReplyDeleteAt times I have dedicated a page to a past family member.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely page, I like it :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Friday here already... "time", huh? Great collage, hugs and have a great Friday.
ReplyDeleteBlogger often as a mind of it's own Erica, just love all the hues of green which seem to go so well with the vintage photo.

Whoever they are, you picked a good photo. There was a place we stopped in once selling lots and lots and lots of old photos. Pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteI'm playing catchup, love the old photo and the background on your page. Great idea. Thank you for your support this month. Hugs Wendy.
ReplyDeleteLovely page, Erika! Great for Wendy's challenge at Art Journal Journey.
