I'm not sure I want it to be Friday; summer is going WAY TOO fast! Before I know it I'll be back to school...my last 2 weeks have started now. Sad sad face.
Anyhow, Friday means the end of work week and after a long work week a big cold margarita is often the drinkers choice at Happy Hour. If you don't know about happy hour (as I am not sure if it is international or not), it is a time when a bar or restaurant or pub or tavern offers a little cheaper drinks to get you in, and it can also just refer to the late afternoon when someone has a drink at the end of their day.

I mad this page with some clear gel paste and a stencil, spray inks and then some Golden liquid acrylic paints. After that I sketched the glass, painted in the drink, and then added a ring of Glossy Accents and some clear glass glitter to make the salt ring. I drew and colored then added the lime.

I painted and then outlined the flowers at the top of the page and then stamped the clock and the hearts and the little Think Happy saying at the bottom of the page.
So my week has been all about being a local tourist. Yesterday I went for a little hike up a small local mountain with a friend and my dog. And of course my dog loved a little walk in the woods!

If you look super close with a magnifying glass you can see all the way out to the ocean in this direction. It is just there, on the horizon.
Today I am off to Boston for the last round of kidney donation testing. I've made it through the other rounds with flying colors so keep your fingers crossed this round goes the same way. This is the last round, and if I pass my results go before the doctors and they decide if I can donate to my husband (or in a switch).
So I hope everyone has something good on tap (excuse my pun, keeping with this Happy Hour theme) for the weekend! Thanks for stopping by and visiting!
