It's the Weekend-Hurrah!

I am very excited it is the weekend! I NEED some art release (more than squeezing in an hour in the evening) and a little fun. The one thing I promise myself every year when school starts up is that I am NOT going to let school become overwhelming, and yet, once again, it has happened.  I don't think there is any way around it, and it's taken me 34 years to finally learn that.
The good news is that the pup's biopsy report came back  and it was good news. Her giant growth end up being a benign skin tumor. Benign is a good word for sure!
 So in this post I have a journal page for 2 challenges.
First of all the latest challenge at Moo Mania is In The Air. The balloons  lifting up into the clouds certainly fits that bill.
And Yvonne's theme over at Art Journal Journey is Colour My World. Mostly red with a little blue is my color for today.
So tomorrow (Saturday) I am off to Vermont for the day. I'll be and out like I'm going to work. BUT, it should be a fun day and I am looking forward to it.

    I really like this, Erika. The colors are great, but the images are even better. I liked everything from the numbers to the cogs to the scissors to, well just EVERYTHING. It's a really fun journal page.

    This is an awesome page, when I looked at it I thought ....what a way to let go of all the tension in the day. I often find a story looking at folks art and yours today has me off in all directions. It's Fabulous. I love the colour combination with all the details and images to see on the page.
    Good news about the test results for the dog. I think you must be so relieved.

    Your page is fun and really artsy! I love the colours and the layering and all the interesting details - and a good advice to yourself! Take school and the job EASY . Easy to say and difficult to implement - I know! But you are such a clever woman - you will find out how to survive and making the best out of it.

    We have sunshine here this morning - looks like a nice weekend for us.
    We have to watch over our boy . Poor with his neck ruff thingy. The first bandage change went well .. all looks good ...
