Friday

Happy Friday everyone. Today I have a tag that I made for Tag Tuesday  and their latest challenge of landmarks. I used some napkin bits, a stamped image, a transparency and some writing that I clipped out of some left over Japan travel brochures.
And how about some more mushrooms? There are so many right now. Our humidity has left for a few days but guess what, more rain storms are coming in today. This has been one wet month here. No wonder why we have so many mushrooms.

In the garden there are a thousands of these little ones.

And if you don't like mushrooms, how about these sunflowers that grew up from some bird feed that must have been dropped by some birds.

Happy weekend. (Or almost weekend!)
Thanks for visiting.

  1. Your tag would make a wonderful travel poster for a trip to Japan. I don't have a lot of mushrooms in the garden. The rain and humidity have caused the weeds to grow to sci-fi movie proportions. I heard cooler weather is coming Monday

  2. Wow, look at all those fantastic toadstools, what a huge variety! The sunflowers are beautiful, too. Thanks so much for making the lovely tag for Tag Tuesday, you have seen lots of landmarks lately! Have a great day. Here I'm enjoying a cool and rainy day, wonderful! Hugs, Valerie

  4. Your tag is beautiful. I bet you find a way to include it in your Japan journal.

Gosh, Erika, I've never seen so many different varieties of mushrooms in my life. They are unbelievable. I live in the sunflower state and can't even grow them!!! Yours come up from bird droppings (you know what I mean). Have a great Friday, dear.

  5. Wow! I can't imagine mushrooms at this time of year, living in this hot dry climate. Here we have amushroom season in October (IF it rains) You need a permit to pick any. You can only get a permit if you follow a course. It is repeated each year. We are often away in October so I have never made it to the course. This year, I hope....
    Have a lovely weekend,

  6. We also have a ton of mushrooms, I was wondering if they would press for eco dyeing! They are so colorful, but I wouldn’t know if I was handling something poisonous. Your photos are great! The last one looks like trumpets. ☺️

  7. That tag is gorgeous. I like the way you designed it.

I haven't seen a mushroom in months! It's just been too dry. I love sunflowers! Mine are fall-blooming perennials, so I'll enjoy yours in the meantime :)

  8. I love your tag! The Buddha image is perfect with the background writing and the splash of red. I love the different mushrooms you found on your walks. The deep yellow mushrooms with the green ferns gives me an idea for a card. The sunflowers are so pretty
