T Stands for A Sculpture Garden Visit

Another Tuesday T day has rolled around already. This month is flying. Last week I was finally able to get together with my walking friend Jo, as we hadn't gone out since early June. We decided to take a little road trip.  We headed a bit south to Lincoln, Massachusetts and went to deCordova Sculpture park.

It was a lovely park, and they even had an indoor museum. I thought for T day I would send everyone a "heart" and share this interesting pair of statues.

You can see how the surfaces of the hearts had lots of images embedded or created on them.

I wonder if the artist used items he loved on the hearts or just items he had at hand.

When we finished up with the museum and sculpture park, we found a restaurant with AC. It had been a warm and humid morning outside, although not anywhere near as hot as those of you with temperatures in the high 90's or even over 100 degrees F (up to and over 37 degrees C). The AC felt nice, and since it was going on 2 in the afternoon, we needed lunch also.

I ended up ordering this fried chicken sandwich that came with fries. It was a mega sized lunch and after a couple of bites I just ate the chicken and cole slaw (on the chicken) part of the sandwich. I couldn't even finish my fries. And because I wanted something thirst quenching to drink (along with the water I had already drank half of), I copied my friend and ordered a slightly tart hard apple cider. This is my third drink reference for T this week.

Lunch was yummy, and  after walking around all morning, I could have used an hour or so on my hammock at that point. (smile) Since we had other things to do, and a trip home, I quickly moved past the sleepy haze of a big lunch.
