Miaddie's Home

 Hi everyone. Happy weekend. 

My latest Maddie update: 

Yesterday morning the vet called and said they thought she needed surgery as the hole was not yet healed, and it should have been. The vet said they would do the surgery that morning, and she'd be ready to come home Saturday. 

Friday evening I met my husband at the vet, and we went in to visit.  Maddie was very happy to see us; her tail went in the air and started wagging.  We expected her to be more groggy since she'd had surgery that morning

. After a few minutes the vet came in and said she was doing better than they expected. She had eaten and also relieved herself, which was what they worried about since they'd just stitched up that hole in her bladder a few hours earlier. 

Would we like to take her home with us?

And someone was very happy to  have a sleep in with mom Saturday morning. 😉
