T stands for 2 lobster rolls

Happy Tuesday and Happy T day everyone.
Time to share some drink and maybe even food photos over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog.
So for the last few days I've been sharing some photos of my road trip to Maine. When my husband and I arrived in Rockland, we needed lunch. After a short walk around, we chose this breakfast and lunch place called the Bronze Compass.
Not a great photo with the shadow, but any place still crowded after 1 pm had to have pretty good food.
We weren't disappointed.
The back photo is my husband's haddock (fish) club sandwich on homemade bread. The front is my lobster roll.
I love a good lobster roll that is full of chunks of lobster and not swimming in mayonnaise.
They had a yummy pie selection too that tempted me.
I tried the blueberry cream pie because I had never heard of or had that kind of pie before.
That was delicious too.
But oh no, I realized I forgot to add our glasses of diet cokes in the photos.
Fast forward to this past weekend. I got a text from my good friend Vicky who wanted to meet for lunch. Not just meet for lunch, but go to the only restaurant in my town for lobster rolls.
Summer means hot dogs, hamburgers and for me, lobster rolls.
This time we did take out and it was so nice we sat at the picnic tables. Here;s our lunches, and although you can't see it, we had diet cokes in our white take out glasses.
The restaurant in our town has good lobster rolls, but not as good as the ones in Maine. They put in a little more mayonnaise and add a little lettuce to the bottom of the hot dog roll.
Vicky and I were so excited to have our first lobster roll lunch out together we took a selfie.

We had to include those sandwiches.
Ha-ha!
Stop by Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to see what the T Gang has been up to. And join us. We love new members.
Happy T Day everyone.

Lots of misty rain here the last two days but it has been warm and humid too-not a great combination for arthritis:(. Hope we all get to see the sun in the next day or so. Happy T day!

  3. I swear, dear, I have never had a lobster roll in my life. I want to try one if I ever leave Kansas again. They look wonderful, but that pie was the best looking item there. I also never heard of any cream fruit pie, except lemon, which only uses the zest and juice. What an impressive find. and believe it or not, I saw the dark red plastic glasses near both food orders. You can't hide a drink from me (grin). I think what I enjoyed most at both restaurants were the fries. I'm a sucker for fries.

Thanks for sharing your lobster rolls and your drinks with us for T this soon to be Tuesday.

To answer your questions, yes that is Squiggles. He's the one with the pink nose and white face. I haven't tried the tea yet, because I'm waiting to finish showing all my photos from Bungalow 26.
