A Simple Page for You Today

Hi everyone. I'm back today with another inspiration page for Art Journal Journey This month the challenge is In the Air/In the Sky. And butterflies and dragonflies are wonderful things to see in the air.
I created this page with a watered down acrylic wash in orange and pink. Then I used pieces of this funky flowered napkin to finish my background. The butterflies and dragonflies are stickers I added.  Finally I stamped the quote.
This page is also some inspiration for our latest theme at Try It On Tuesday which is Things With Wings.

And it is the second of the month, so it is time for   Second on the Second  over at Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog.
I figured I would keep with the Things With Wings and In the Air/In the Sky challenge themes and share a bird page from last May.
You can check out the entire post here: Clear Headed.
I hope your month is starting off in a good way.
And I hope to see you at  these challenges soon.

  1. Looks like you are on a roll, Erika. Your theme has caught on quite well and it shows in this journal entry, too. I like how you used the napkin and the stickers. This is a lovely entry for your theme at Art Journal Journey.

What a fun second look this month. I remember this and am still amazed those hawks were stamped, then brilliantly colored. Thanks for sharing this second look on the 2nd because it was a fun look back and a fond remembrance, too.

  12. There's nothing simple about the Beauty of a Butterfly and when there's more than one well, it's a sheer delight. Love that inspirational quote!! Super shares Erika.
