Happy T Day everyone. Time to share our drink related photos for T Day, already.

Today I just have a little bit of a lot of different things.
I'll start with a drink related tag for Tag Tuesday By the way, beverages is their latest theme.
And a couple of food/drink related posts from this past Sunday when we went out boating.
My husband with his beer.
And my daughter having a cookie after lunch which the dogs were very interested in.
We were anchored off the beach (which you can see a little bit of in the background) where we spend a very low key afternoon. We had a picnic lunch and then everyone else took a little nap. I stayed awake but lounged in my chair reading.
And last Friday my remaining juniors in microbiology and I went out for an ice cream. The seniors were done and were graduating that evening.
Too bad I had to white out their faces (the expressions are half the fun) but I love this photo. We had fun posing for it and having another customer take it for us. These a great group of kids.
The ice cream was good by the way, but I forgot to take a photo.
Friday's the last day of school for the kids.
And I have some new blooms in my garden.
My first rose of the year.
My irises are in bloom.
The pink flowers (which some of you asked about before) and my ground phlox.

The photos are all great. i loved seeing the dogs looking longingly at the biscuit, I hope they got a treat as well, they were very patient.
It was good to see the happy end of term photo, I'm sure your group enjoyed the icecream.

Finally...flowers and sunshine! I bet you're so pleased, lol. Could do with you sending some over here...our flowers are thriving in the rain but there's not a lot of sun or heat around...it's only been 12C some days :-( It's a LONG time since I put the heating on in June!!!

Hi Erika. Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. Hope the hives go away soon, my hubby suffers from them too and they are no fun! In answer to your question, our pie is "meat and potato" which is much loved in the North of England, you probably won’t find this pie in the South of England. It’s served hot and goes very nicely with a pint of beer - yum 😉. Happy T Day! Jo x

In KS, if you are caught drinking (even beer) in a state lake, you get fined. That's what a friend of mine who goes boating all the time told me. He said there are even signs that show it. Your husband looks happy with his beer, though.
It won't be long until school is out for you. Just think. Lots of time this summer for art and travel. Love the flowers in your garden.

Your daughter's sun hat is great! I always like seeing folks in hats :) Your flowers look so pretty. Thanks for that name. That ground phlox is what we used to call "thrift" and made a lovely border plant.
