Magic

 Hi everyone.  Happy Thursday!


Let me start today's post with another tag for  Tag Tuesday. This time around it is Wendy's theme which is Texture.

This tag is mounted to a page in my Mystery, Mayhem and Magic altered book that I made last month.  Here's the spread it is a part of.



And Wendy is also our host at Art Journal Journey  with a theme of birds, and I will be linking my page up to that challenge also.
You can see I used some blue paint to color most of my background. I also used some stickers, tissue paper, stamping, die cuts, some hand punched circles, a bit of  cloth trim and some fussy cut images. 
I am also linking up to Day 12 of Leah's Art Everyday Month.

    A fun page. I like how the mask mimics the shape of the owls horns/ears? The circles looks like portals, but I wouldn't want to go through the ones with the spider's web. Stay dry today

    I love the continuity between the two pages, with both color and owls. I love the "magic" banner, too. This is wonderful and a great entry for Wendy's theme at Art Journal Journey. Looks like you had NO trouble linking to AEDM, but when I visited at midnight, there were no links and the page was quite different looking.

    Fantastic artwork. I like the spooky Halloween feel to this. And I think that's it for the warmer weather, for New England. Darn.

    Oh I like this tag a lot. The owl and the mask go together so well and I think this owl could make quite a few appearances. The little yellow owl looks rather sweet and the two pages together are indeed magic(al).
