Hi everyone.
Today Rain's Art and Dinner Date theme is petals, and Aimeslee's Art Journal Journey theme is flowers. They both (obviously) work together, so let me start off my post by sharing this spread in my small album.
The words and pictures come from a vintage children's gardening book, although I did end up adding some confetti flowers to the potted plants. The background is painted and then stamped.
This isn't the most complex page I've ever made, but to make up for it, let me share lots of petal photos.
You have to love the spring blooms.
Have a wonderful day and rest of your week also.
Hi Erika, I love your sweet journal pages and all of the flower and petal. pics you have shown. Have a lovely day. I'm resting today, hope things will be better too. Hugs, Valerie

Gorgeous gorgeous. Luv the purple in your art journal. Happy Thursday.
ReplyDeleteMuch💖love
This is a great theme, because I think that at this time of the year you could simply go outside, point the camera, and the result would include some petals! Hugs - David
ReplyDeleteWow, what gorgeous garden flower photos 🏡 and a sweet spread with petals🌱.
ReplyDeleteWe have here a rainy period of spring, but green is the main color of nature.
Happy spring time to you 💚😘
That purple is lovely for this -- and every beautiful photo matched the theme!
ReplyDeleteI like your journal page - it really doesn't always have to be someting elaborate. Simple is often so much more beautiful.

You nailed both the journal spread AND the petal photos. Your spread is absolutely perfect for AJJ and Aimeslee's theme.
