Hi everyone. Happy last day of April to you. What a month it was at my house, starting with winter weather and now we're (happily) into spring.
Today I want to share my final pages for my Spring Birds challenge at Art Journal Journey. I've been hosting since March 1 with two different challenges, and I'm ready to pass the baton (or should I say journal page) off to our new host tomorrow. Check back then to see who our next talented host is and what the May challenge will be.
And before I move on I want to thank everyone who joined in at AJJ this past month. It's always appreciated, and it made for such a colorful as well as flower and bird filled month. I always enjoy seeing how people interpret themes too. Thank you everyone who linked up.
For my last art journal pages for April let me share a spread from my envelope journal that is all about spring.
The weather today here is so nice, feels almost like summer...Happy Spring and Gardening, Erika.
ReplyDelete...it's a wrap and I wish you a Merry Month of May.
ReplyDeleteThe weather in my area has been weird this month.
ReplyDeleteI love this beautiful spread, Erika! Especially because the angel is the statue Niki (in english: Win) of Samothraki (a greek island). Unfortunately this statue is not in Greece, it is in Louvre museum in France. Thank you for the lovely spring birds challenge at Art Journal Journey.

ReplyDeleteWonderful AJJ challenge my friend! I love that you were able to dig into your supplies to make such a cool collage with them! This can be very tricky to do! That Vintage girl caught my eye when I scrolled down! I just love it next to the grandfather clock! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteApril seems to have zoomed by, and here in the UK these last few days of April have been hot!
ReplyDeleteI do like the art you've shared here.
Wishing you a happy new month of May.
All the best Jan
Always enjoy your pages and that envelope idea is nice for tuck-ins. I have that delight stamp and can't remember who, but my guesses are Heidi Swapp, Autumn Leaves or Carolee's Creations?
