Friends

How about a slightly crooked photo for this Saturday? 
I colored the background in my calendar journal page, added a bit of napkin, then cut up a postcard I had with all these photobooth snapshots of people. And I added some mini numbers from some TH emphera. 
Friends are certainly a blessing. As are family members, who can also still be your best friends too.
I wanted to link this up to the Blessings Challenge at Art Journal Journey  It is being hosted by the handsome Bleubeard and the lovely and smart Elizabeth. 
It's suppose to be a nice weekend here. Two days back at school and I forget so fast that it is still summer. The cooler weather the last few days probably didn't help.  Guess I am in  September mode. Funny how fast vacation mode goes away and how fast you fall back into work routine. It is hard to believe that in a week it will be September. Where did the summer disappear to?
Hope your weekend gives you good weather and a little fun. Whatever good weather would be for you and whatever is fun for you.

    WOW, I am impressed with the journal page you created. You have some wonderful "friends" in that spread. Most impressive that you had that post card. I love the background colors and doodles, too. Thanks so much for sharing this at Art Journal Journey.

    How quickly we go from summer mode to school mode. I totally agree, even though I usually went to school in summer, too. At least I normally had several weeks off to "enjoy" the heat and humidity of summer (grin). Of course, I still had to work full time, but I had that breather where I wasn't cramming for tests. Hope you are enjoying this new school year mode.

    Friendship is something wonderful in life! We all need friends!!

    The months this year just flew by... unbelievable!
    We got rain and it got very cold already - autumn directly after summer like it seems and all the leaves that are dry from the heat give the impression of autumn as well!

    I like that quote about best friends and I love your beautiful background for these wonderful photos! I enjoy having found friends in blogland whose interests are the same as mine, being creative!
    I am glad that the high temperatures are gone for some days - but the radio said on Wednesday they will come back! Summer goes on in September. We will see.

    What a so wonderful Art journal page Erika !! Absolutely lovely, gorgeous !! I love the so happy background you have created, it's fabulous! The black and white photographs are so beautiful and funny, You're right, our friendships are the best !! They are always here in case we need them, and we are always there too.

    Love you page - great contrasts of colours! We begin to get that change of light from bright sunny days to the lovely Autumn yellow in September and I am looking forward to it - although not the Winter that follows! Hugs, Chrisx
