Sparkle and Shine

 Hi everyone. Happy November 1 to you. This year is flying since we are already at month 11.

Halloween has come and gone, just like our Halloween challenge. It's a new month and time for a new challenge over at Try It On Tuesday

First let me thank everyone who has joined us for our Halloween challenge, and also to Elle for hosting for our last challenge.

Our newest challenge for the next 2 weeks is:

Sparkle and Shine.

The first thing that came to my mind with the challenge title was someone standing under a theatre spotlight, so that's where I went with my art for this challenge.

I decided to go small, and I made a tag. Meet little Patsy. She has a gorgeous singing voice, only she is so shy, she won't sing in front of other people. 

 I started by using some Paper Artsy Infusions on the tag. The color was a little too bold, so I sponged some white gesso over it. Then I added a bit of blue mesh down at the bottom to represent the stage. I drew and colored the spotlight and the yellow light coming from it. Since our challenge is Sparkle and Shine, I  used some thick glitter glue on the light. Once dry, I stamped some stars on the background and added little Patsy. I combined 2 stamped quotes. And finally, I added some little gold and silvery shiny dots.

At Try It on Tuesday we accept all kinds of art formats, as long as they relate to the challenge.  You have 2 weeks to join us with your Sparkle and Shine. And please don't forget to check out the creative entries from the design team. There are all kinds of wonderful ideas to inspire you.
