Autumn Magic

 Hi everyone.  Happy new month to you.

    I'm back again for my second post today with a journal page for our newest challenge at Try It on Tuesday. Thank you to everyone who joined our Black and White Plus One Other Color challenge, and thank you  Lia  for hosting .

   Since it's now October (can you believe that?) our challenge is all about the present Northern Hemisphere season. Our latest challenge is

AUTUMN MAGIC

     For my journal page, I started with a background that was red with black and had some attempted page designs on it, none of which were working for me. I decided to give  all that mess a coat of gesso, and then cover it over with lots of die cuts and also some punch outs to make an autumnal collage.  It's  jumbled and messy ❤, but what I wanted to capture was the mosaic of color you get when you look closely into the a forest that's in full autumn regalia.

   I left the little birds black and white just to give your eye something to be drawn to.  I love all the colors of fall, and I think the little birds do too.
