Hi everyone. Happy Friday. Today I'm joining Nicole for Friday Face Off, and I'm also joining Gillena for her Friday Lunch Break. I'm taking you back to Nova Scotia again, and this time we're spending some time in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
If you're not familiar with the park's location, you can see where it's located on the map below.
The park is a really beautiful place, and we spent a full day there. In fact, the sweeping views are almost hard to photograph and really capture the grandeur. Rather than getting too detailed, let me just share some various photos in random order, and you can decide for yourself what you think.
Let me finish today's photos with my face for Face-Off. I gave the park a 2 thumbs up, as you can see.
I have some more park photos to come in another post.
Have a great Friday and start to your weekend.

What a beautiful area. And you had good weather looking at those photos. Gorgeous.
Have a lovely weekend,

The beaches look very appealing. But how many weeks in the year is the weather readily swimmable?
If you had more thumbs, you could have more of them up and that place would definitely deserve all of them! Gorgeous is an understatement.
Thank you for the mini-holiday to the ocean and your happy face! Just what I needed! Have a great Friday, hugs
...thank Erika for taking me back to Nova Scotia again, it was a special treat.
I have a rock on my desk used as a paper weight from this magical corner of the world. I am glad that you visited, Erika. All the best - David
You covered a lot of territory and all beautiful. It looks like your weather was pretty great! Love your FFO pic!
Such a beautiful and clean place! Nice weather there too. Happy Friday, Erika.
Beautiful. The impossible blue of the sky and the sea. Looks like you have great weather. You smiling face lights up the photograph. Another chilly day. Stay warm

Dear Erika, the park definitely deserves your two thumbs up – a place with a wonderful landscape 🤩! Unfortunately, we didn't get to explore the regions of Canada east of Ontario – we would have needed an even longer vacation for that... Thanks for sharing!
All the best and happy weekend, Traude

Oh my. These photos are gorgeous. This is truly a wondrous place. My favorite photo is the last one of you with thumbs up. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have a very nice weekend.
For some reason, I find the flat rocks interesting.
That really looks great. Another place in the world worth visiting...but I think it is too far away from me.
Have a good time and thanks for your kind visits to my blog.

That's a really lovely picture of you, Erika, with a very contagious smile. The park looks beautiful, no wonder you spent an entire day there. We would have done the same. Did you do some hiking there? Have a lovely weekend! Hugs - Carola
A beautiful area and fabulous photographs.
Definitely thumbs up!
All the best Jan
Oh, Erika! This is the geography of my heart. I have been all over Cape Breton. I've mapped (geologically) a lot of the western side and been to places many people never see. Thank you, thank you for sharing these beautiful photos. Love the photo of you. Happy weekend! ❤️
Fabulous photos, I'd love to go there.
Interesting and such beautiful photos of this park! These views are magnificent!!!
