Time for a New Challenge-Our Last for 2025!

Hi everyone. It's Tuesday which means it's time for a new challenge at Try It On Tuesday. This will be our last challenge for 2025, and we'll be back on January 6th to announce our first challenge for 2026. Be sure to stop by before that though to see if you made our Spotlight.

Thank you everyone who joined our Snowflakes challenge. There were so many lovely entries. And now, since Christmas is just around the corner, our latest challenge is It's All About Santa.

I made a page in my ledger journal. It started with some scrap tissue paper that the contents of a package came wrapped in. I liked how it was a map, and of course since Santa has to navigate the globe on Christmas Eve, I decided this was the right background paper. I then went through my stash and found a couple of Santa images that I'd saved out of a catalog since last year. The other image was full page sized, so I decided on the one you see here. I also cut the Dear Santa Claus words from the same image.

Then I stamped  the text  and the holiday greetings image using an older TH set.  To finish the page I added some flying reindeer, not as many that pull Santa's sleigh, but enough to work on this page. 😏 They come from a roll of felted sticky back reindeer trim I have. Behind them I added this metallic moon sticker. I'm not sure you can see the little red blob of red glitter I added to the reindeer's noses. I decided at this point enough was enough, and so that's my finished page.

Don't forget to check out all the other Santa designs from our design team. This challenge runs for the next 2 weeks, and then we move onto our Spotlight.

I am also linking  up to Sharon's Winter challenge at Art Journal Journey.  Santa is a big part of a winter holiday. That challenge runs through the end of the month, but please, only  art journaling and no cards are accepted.

Wishing you all a very wonderful holiday season, and I hope you'll find a little time to link up a Santa themed piece at Try It on Tuesday.

Santa is perfect for your ledger journal! He is all hands on deck for that Christmas list! Your felt row of deer are super cool and full of texture too! Great page for the challenge!

What a cheeky Santa (literally, just look at his rosy cheeks!) and he is winking too!
I've been telling myself that in the New Year I would like to participate in TIOT. It would encourage me to create something and get my crafty things out of the boxes. Watch this space...
By the way, as to your question about Sinterklaas: Every present is personal. The name is written on it and in the Netherlands there would be a funny poem too. But you never know who the present is from and it's always fun later on to try and find out who give it to you, not the least to thank them personally. I have now finally found out who gave me what and have sent messages of thanks.
