Hi everyone. Happy Friday. Today I'm joining Gillena for her Friday Lunch Break and Nicole for her Friday Face Off.
As you might already know, a couple of weeks ago my husband and I spent the day in Boston with my daughter and her husband. I had lots of fun that day, and I had a blast with my camera and all the photo subjects I came across. You may have seen some of the photos from that day in earlier posts. Today I have other random photos from our day with several faces to share.
OK, and I have some flowers too. There were flowers all over the city. This flower display in front of a restaurant were all living plants. Aren't they beautiful?
The face is some man on his phone.
A nod to history on the sign facing me as I walked down the sidewalk
This display isn't quite as lovely (to me at least-I would have gotten rid of the pussy willow branches) but still, all made of beautiful living flowers.
The face of this building also had lots of flowers. I don't believe the flowers above the awning were alive.
These were not all alive, but still looked lovely on the fence.
Another nod to history.
The face of this gate is quite lovely.
Need I say anymore? I just watched a series on Netflix about George Washington, and he would definitely approve of the T shirt with his face on it.
A metal bird face
My son-in-law, my husband, and even a smiley face
Those window faces have some cool coverings
Lots of faces in the crowd, and a fun sign post
The face on a building
Lots of pansy faces
And finally
my husband having fun at a statue.
Have a great Friday and start to your weekend.

Great series of pictures, Erika. All the best- David
Hellloooo Erika. I have to tell you. Seeing these photos this morning makes me want to take my camera beyond my little yard/woods and go explore new adventures. I LOVE the flowers. Love them.
Thanks for the comment about my deck. I'm on here now with a cuppa reading a few blogs before starting work for the day. Today, painting the inside wall as it's still too wet out here for stain.
Happy weekend and boogie boogie.
I enjoyed seeing Boston through your eyes.
...Erika, thanks for being my tour guide of Boston, the sights were great.
This is such a joyful post, Erika. Those flowers in front of that Italian Restaurant look so tender and beautiful.
You had a real riot with your camera in Boston didn't you, so nice you keep sharing, looks like the City was beautifully floral for Spring.

Wonderful flowers, I love them too, their colors in all seasons.
Friday hug, Andreja!
These are fantastic -- I love every single one. Isn't Boston a wonderful city and a beautiful one, with so much history. I liked all the Italian city names on that one -- guessing that was the north end. And the flowers everywhere -- fantastic!
I've never been to Boston, but it's in my bucket list. It's such a historic and beautiful city, and looks like you thoroughly enjoyed your visit with your family. Happy FFO!
Wonderful photos of Boston and your family too ~ Hugs ^_^
It is so pretty there. Your photos and all the places you go makes me want to get on a plane and fly on over. Thank you for sharing with FFO and have the best weekend.
I enjoyed all your vibrant photos, Erika! My husband I took our nephew to Ye Old Union Oyster House a long time ago. That's where Kevin wanted to go, and it was a wonderful meal. Boston is a fascinating city. I'm glad you and your husband had fun exploring it.
Lots of fun photos. I really love seeing all the flowers. Have a great weekend
The face on the wall of the building is fabulous! Of course I liked all the flowers, the way they are draped at the fences is simply beautiful. Have a good weekend, Erika. Hugs - Carola
Beautiful photos, Erika! Thank you so much for sharing this lovely tour!
Besides the 1776 sign by the Oyster House, did you know that's the oldest restaurant is the oldest restaurant in Boston? Looks like a fun day in the city.
Ye Olde Union Oyster House is a great name for a pub. And I appreciate the establishment date being added to the outside sign.
NICE pics, Erika. I remember being on vacation with my Sister Rose who lived in New York and she and some friends droving to Boston for some kind of Carnival,
We were still in the 1900's. A 20th Century memory🙂
Thanks for linking to AFFF
Much love
That´s quite a great pic-galore!!! Have a great weekend. Here - after a day at the festival off to the Footy soon, hugs!
Your Boston experience is a lot more colorful and jaw dropping amazing than mine. Stunning photos and gorgeous flowers.
Splendid photos Erika. I have been enjoying these from your trip to Boston. The only one time I was there was years ago when I was first married. It would be fun to see the city again and I have through your photos. Thank you and have a great weekend!
Wow, dear Erika,
I didn't know that Boston had so many beautiful aspects—or, to put it in a way that fits with the FFO theme: that Boston had such an interesting face! I was particularly impressed by this house facade with its two nostalgic-looking round bay windows. The abundance of flowers gives the impression that this city is well-maintained—I honestly wouldn't have thought that Boston could be so charming. And sometimes you can almost feel like you're in Italy here – a sign here says "Italian Cuisine," there are arrows pointing to Milan, Genoa, Tuscany... and behind the smiley face, a sign shouts "Aperitivo!"
That's how it is in the blogging world; we show a piece of the world and make others want to experience it. I'm glad you enjoyed my posts about Vancouver Island – and yes, put it on your bucket list. It's really worth a trip!
All the best from Austria 🤗. Thanks for your lovely comments!
