T Stands for Sunshine and Spring

Happy T day everyone.  It is already Tuesday again. Our sunshine has disappeared and the rain is coming, but the last couple of days have been just gorgeous.
Here's a couple of shots from my Monday morning walk.
And some shots from a Sunday evening drive.
Ice out on the the big lake near my home was last week. That means its almost boating season. :)

I've spent the last 3 days doing yard work.  Monday's project was spreading back mulch.
Monday night I was ready to go to bed early! :)
I was pretty worn out Sunday evening too after some outside work. The hubby had gone off during the day to do his favorite spring chore, uncovering his boat which he stores up at his mother's house. When he got home we decided to go get some ice cream, but then decided we were so hungry we should stop and have dinner instead.
They make the BEST brick oven pizzas.
I washed mine down with a 603 Winnie amber ale.
I like how it was served in a Pats glass.
The hubby had a rum punch.
I noticed this photo gave his face a weird coloring. Not sure what that was all about, but the punch was that orange red color.
Then we were naughty and stopped for an ice cream.
I worked so hard today I certainly burned off dinner for sure.
And it was YUMMY! :)
So stop by Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to see what the T gang has been up to. And maybe you'd even like to join in the T day fun. All you need is a drink photo.
So I might be a little late getting to some of your blogs since the hubby has one more pre-surgery test in Boston. Keep your fingers the results are good news.
And have a happy T day every one.

Goodness. You have been working hard. First the screened porch and now raking a spreading mulch. You deserved a decent meal, too.

I love brick oven pizza. I love it mainly because it is thin crust, although theirs looks thicker than most I've had. You got two awesome looking pizzas to go with your amber ale and your husband's rum punch.

Hope the tests turn out good tomorrow. It would be a disaster if he can't have his surgery. Thanks for sharing your pizza and drinks with us for T this Tuesday, as well as your weekend activities.

The lake pictures are gorgeous, especially the second one with the town reflected in the water. Spreading all that mulch you deserved dinner out and an ice cream. It was nice to see your smiling face and your hubby, too. Will keep you both in my thoughts.

Lots of work there. It's looking like spring.

And those photos of the water? All of them -- just magnificent. That one with the reflections -- that belongs in your Chamber of Commerce brochure! They all do. Oh, what a gorgeous blue. Fabulous, Erika!

Wow, that's a lot of bark mulch to spread and with your hubby getting the boat ready, it looks like you both deserved that yummy meal and icecream :-) . The pizza looks delicious, there's nothing better than a pizza cooked in a brick oven and I'd join you for a pint of amber ale, the Pats glass is really cool too! Your icecream is making my mouth water - yum, what flavour did you have? Wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)

Hi Erika and thanks for stopping by. I really have enjoyed supporting the national parks with the virtual races. Homemade egg rolls are just the best. we got to see our doctor today so lots of questions answered-thank you.
I loved all the photos you shared, I am so behind with my garden areas this year it seems to be too cool too hot or too wet lol we just had 5 inches of rain last week and just hears another 6 inches is coming in starting tonight.
My husband just got a fishing boat last year he is so excited about it too. Looks like a fabulous place to eat and oh my I would love to have some of that ice cream-that looks soooo good-smiles
Happy T Day Kathy

Gosh you have both been working very hard! I reckon you both deserved that pizza. It looks a very good pizza, the sort I think I'd like to eat too.And then having an ice cream too. Well, you set out to have an ice cream, so in the end you did.
The photos of the lake are superb. What a lovely place. No wonder the hubby was eager to uncover his boat. I hope his tests go well so that surgery will soon be all set to go ahead.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
