Hi everyone. I have another animal tag for the latest challenge at Tag Tuesday. This time my giraffe is one I sketched, painted and used both some watercolor crayons and some watercolor pencils to finish off.
Its been a busy couple of days. Monday we had to head off to Boston as my husband had an appointment with his kidney surgeon, and Tuesday we ran errands as well as my husband had to take his car for some service. Somehow we managed to be out most of both days. But since both of these days were wet and cold, it wasn't so bad being out. If I was home I probably would have napped and watched a lot of TV. (On the evening news they said we hit a record yesterday for the coldest day for 6 June-48 degrees Fahrenheit or about 9 degrees Celsius).
But today the sun is due back, and I am home all day. Sounds like our weather might actually get back to normal over the next few days. FINALLY!
And I'm ready for a little art and maybe even gardening time too!
Thanks for visiting!

Wonderful giraffe, love how he' smiling! Thanks so much for making another lovely tag for TT, much appreciated. Glad you have some home time today after being out and about the past 2 days. Hope your weather soon warms up. It's cold and stormy here again, but by the weekend it should be hot. Hugs, Valerie
It hit 90 F yesterday. I wish spring would have lasted a bit longer because I HATE hot weather. I'd gladly trade you my weather.
Your giraffe is really adorable. So, so cute! Wish I had time to make a tag, but my life is really busy right now. Love yours.
A sweet giraffe with a great saying. Yay for the weather finally clearing. Summer temps predicted for the weekend and beginning of the week. Most people will whine about the heat. I say bring it on! Have a spontaneous day!
Great drawing -love the tag!!
Your giraffe is loads of fun. Very whimsical and happy. And I really hope you get the weather predicted for us this weekend -- weather in the 80s and 90s!
Good morning-oh Wow I love this giraffe tag-too sweet
our weather seems to either be in the 70s for a bit or jumps right up to hot 90s-I have been working on my veggie garden this week-we have had soooo much rain here that the weeds were unreal--working on what section at a time to not overwhelm myself-have an awesome day
Hugs Kathy
I love your tag :) You are so right that we shouldn't wait for some never-to-be-realized "perfect" time. And the giraffe makes me happy :)
Wonderful sketching and painting for this terrific tag. So
Good to have you join Us again at Tag Tuesday

Very cute tag...maybe when I get out of my own way, I will find a time to try one. Wishing you a sun filled fulfilled day with some art and gardening. We have sun here today too...yay!
This tag has the Ahhhhhhh factor, such a sweet face, to brighten any day.
I hope you weather improves and you get some warmth and sun.

Hi to answer your comment on my post-I agree it is so much easier to bake gluten free nowadays when I learned I had celiac over 20 years ago now there was very very little information out there--so many good mixes and flour choices now-I have had a difficult time with the bread baking though--so hoping I can get better with it
It's been a while since I have visited here. I love your giraffe tag and the quote is a good one! Your blog header is nice, too!
Oh your giraffe is just a perfect delight and looks just right on the tag. I love it.
We've had very dry days for weeks and weeks and weeks, no rain at all, and now there is nothing but rain, rain, rain. I quite like it because
a) I can do indoor things with a clear conscience and
b) the plants in the garden are growing enthusiastically again.
Hope you get the kind of weather you like soon.
awww love the way you have drawn/painted your cute giraffe.
Hope your husbands appointment went well too,
Gill x
this is beauty in simplicity! xo
