Second on the Second Is All About Faces

Hi everyone. Happy Friday. It is a very fall like morning at my house today. It's cold, only 47 degrees (around degrees C). Brr.

Today I want to combine my second look for  Second on the Second over at Bleubeard's and Elizabeth's blog with Nicole's Friday Face Off where we share some kind of face.

Let me share a couple of second look faces with you.

And here's a couple of journal pages from September 2019.

And I'm going to include one more second look, from September of 2020, because over at Art Journal Journey we have a new challenge: Fur and/or Feathers, hosted by Neet. My second look is all about feathers.

I posted some faces from Turnpark Art Space in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts the other day, and  Nicole who is hosting  Friday Face Off  requested that I show them again. If you look carefully you can even see some great faces on the pieces hanging on the wall.

I am also linking up to Gillena's Friday Lunch Box.

I'll leave you with that. Hope September has started off well for you. Have a great weekend, and thanks so much for visiting my blog.

...Erika, you found a fabulous collection of faces. For me, eyes are the most expressive part of the face, even masked you can enjoy eyes! Have a fabulous weekend.

Chilly start this morning. Fabulous pages. I love the full moon though I wish the season was Summer. 😺 The face sculptures at the museum are amazing.

Your pages are beautiful - I really like the background in no. 2 and 3. Is that a stencil? And wow to those faces, they are fabulous! All of them are so different and have so many interesting details. What a fascinating exhibition.

LOVE those faces, Erika. Nice that I actually remember the journal pages, so they made a great second look on the 2nd. The gears you included on the first journal page is what made me so happy and the hearts were so clever, too. The page honoring Neet's theme at AJJ is wonderful and of course, those sculptures are out of this world. Thanks for sharing these as your second lookl in September. dear Erika.

I love the use of color in the Autumn piece. The moon face is perfect there.

I am glad you shared the Art Space photos as I missed them the first time.

Your art journal pages are wonderful, subtle and the middle one is soft and lovely. As for the Turnpark Art Space faces, they are wonderful, dramatic and extraordinary ... and yes, faces galore :). Quite the post, Erika ...
