Hi everyone. Happy new month to everyone. It's also the start of meteorological spring here in the Northern Hemisphere which for me, even though winter weather isn't done in my area yet, is at least a tiny step towards better weather. 👍 This is my second post today since there's a new challenge over at Art Journal Journey. If you want to check out this month's AJJ theme, you can click on the link at the end of the last sentence.
Today I am joining Nicole for Sunday in the Art Room and Gillena's Sunday Smiles.
Last week I didn't do a lot of art because I spent some time cleaning out my bookshelves. That project isn't done yet, but while cleaning out my shelves I spread out some old art journals on the bed in the spare room where my bookshelves are. It was very inspiring, and now I have some new ideas that make me want to get back to art making. Just like in many things, I've been in a bit of a February art slump lately.
I thought I would share a few pages from another art journal I made several years ago. This is also a cloth journal, but it's different from the one I shared last Sunday. Instead of binding the entire edge, I used a metal snap ring to hold the pages together.
Hope you enjoy it.

I LOVE this! It is fabulous!
I suppose that when we blog about our travels and other experiences we are creating electronic journals - without the decorative cover! All the best - David
Good morning, this journal is so cool! Love the shape of it too. That would be fun to look at your old journals again-hugs Happy new week ahead Kathy
...Erika, I love your fabric art! These look so homey on this cold, snowy morning.
It is indeed inspiring Erika, I've never seen a cloth journal before and absolutely love the idea, so tactile.
Feels good to be March, psychologically it feels like Spring is in touch.

So precious! I love it! -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
What a great way to spend your Sunday. I love the fabric with old photos on it. A friend of ours made a quilt with a family tree using wedding pictures, it is very cool.
Your house shaped journals are awesome. My favorite page is the black cat under the table. We're getting some snow showers. Maybe an inch or so of snow. Is it snowing at your house? Enjoy your day
This is just so, SO, creative! I love your attention to detail on each and every page!
OK are you kidding me?! This is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Only a brilliant artist would even think to create a book in the shape of home. I'm so impressed with this. Not only the shape but all the loving detail you put into it. I would love to watch you create. Erika, you made my day. Thank you so much for sharing this with SITAR. Have a lovely Sunday.
Wow wow wow. Erika, this is a fabulous journal. I imagine a lot of work (and time) went into this beautiful journal. Yes, it definitely is inspiring. My favorite parts are the two cats and the little dog in the door.
Have a good month - I hope spring will arrive in your corner soon.
LOVE the idea of a cloth journal and this is something on my list to make cloth covers for my journals, dairies and electronic devices. Just so fun. Regarding your question on my blog. Here's my answer. Hope it helps and Happy Sewing.

Hi Erika! I'm not sure. I know this happens to me when Bloggers don't show up in my reader thing here on Blogger. Then later, they pop up. I see an Erika in my followers, and I think that's you. What I've had to do with blogs from time to time, which is weird, but I've had to unfollow and refollow them. That did work for a bit. But it's been awhile since I had to do that. Hope that helps.
LOVE that you're planning cloth projects. Excited for you. Have you seen Donna's other blog @ https://sewitseams51.blogspot.com/ ? She is super talented and you might enjoy this blog too.
Cheers and Happy Sewing!
Wow! These are awesome
Thank you for linking to SundaySmiles
Much love
Those cloth pages are so cute. I love esp. that cute little door with keys and the orange cat sitting before the window.
You are so prolific! Both now and over time and with paper or cloth. These are such fun!
This is such great, fun, lovely art!!! Sorry I´m a bit out of time.... From Madeley, hugs!
oh I love this soooooo much! Absolutely beautiful!!!
This is great Erika, I love it! Beautifully put together! I didn't know you could transfer photos onto cloth.
Erika, even though I myself do not make travel journals, only photo books in recent years, your cloth cover journals are lovely.
I like your art journal pages. Well done. It's warm here where I live right now.
That's amazing. I've never been inspired to do cloth but now I'm glad because it looks really hard! xoxo
