Hi everyone. As you most likely realize May is starting to wind down. Since our challenges at Art Journal Journey run for the month, that means Mia's Birds challenge only runs for the next few days.
I have a couple of pages left to share, so today, here's one of them.
The tea paper background made me think this page needed to be a little bit feminine, so I added some paper lace. All the wildlife and natural references on that paper made me want to add the bird, daisy, bee and butterfly. The tea paper also did not fill the page, so I added some polka dot paper above where the tea paper ended.
The lady's face and the robin were stamps by 2 different sets from Paper Artsy. The woman came faceless, and I added a simple smile on her, because of course a cup of tea and some garden time are always worth smiling about. Off the top of my head I can't remember who made the daisy stamp, but I think it was from Visable Image. All 3 of these stamped images were colored and fussy cut before adding them to my page. The quote journaling card in the center was cut out of a sheet of paper; all papers are oldies from Graphic 45.
I finished my page with some punch outs from 49 and Market. This includes the tickets, insects and laces. On the top blue strip I added some little plastic flat beads to finish off my page.
That's all for me today. I hope everyone has a super Thursday, or you have a super day whenever you stop by. 😄

A faceless woman - glad you helped her out! To tea! Or... maybe an icecream - I will slowly make my way to the city on this sunny day - have a wonderful one, hugs...
I thought the polka dots were part of the tea paper. Well done!
...you must have a huge stash of stuff to work with.
