Its Tuesday again- already. Back to work after my long weekend. I really liked having an extra day home, and hopefully I am ready for another work week. :)
And since it is Tuesday, it is time for another T is for Tuesday.
So today I m going to share my very very late lunch or super early dinner that I had this past Saturday on our way home from our Fall Foliage road trip to the mountains of New Hampshire.
Since it was after 3 in the afternoon when we stopped, and I was so hungry I ordered dinner rather than lunch.
Oh good old fashioned meatloaf with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. Those of you who are not meat eaters would probably not enjoy this meal, but it was delicious. I ate it all.
My drink was a diet coke, my vice,
We all opted for dessert too. One hot fudge sundae and 3 spoons.
And although I don't tend to take bathroom photos, in this restaurant I did.
It was a single bathroom, so don't worry, I wasn't being weird.
Someone with some painting talent was doing decorating.
The mirror is real but the towel rack and shelves are painted. I happen to like the painted pink flamingo "wallpaper" too.
And how about the laundry basket? Even the wall tile was painted in, and not real.
How fun! I wonder if the men's room was painted, and if so, what was the theme in there?
Stop by Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog and see what the T for Tuesday gang are up to, and maybe even post a photo of something you've had to drink.
Nice to know also that with Monday off, Tuesday is the first work day of the week which means it will be a 4 day week.
Hope yours will be a good one.

I LOVE diners. They are always about home style cooking. And just because I'm not a meat eater, doesn't mean I can't salivate over that meal dripping in brown gravy. What is it about those places that gravy is so prominent?
That restroom was incredible. I thought someone had a wonderful artistic style and a great eye for color and design. Of course, I also appreciated the sign at the diner, too. Humor would have brought me in over food, I feel.
Thanks for sharing this experience, the meal, the lovely restroom, and the diner with us for T this soon to be Tuesday.
So, does this mean your husband is NOT having surgery this week? Inquiring minds and all.
Your dinner looks great, and the bathroom is a fab place, glad you took photos. I love the look of the sundae, I think I could even envisage 2 of them with just one spoon! Happy T Day. Hugs, Valerie
oh, can i have the Dessert, please;)
the ladies´room looks wonderful... (and i would have given the camera to my husband to go into the men´s room, haha!) really cool paintings on the wall!

Looks like good home cooking perfect for a cold day! Thanks for taking the photos of the bathroom-amazing artwork. Next time you should have hubby take pics of the men's room:):) Happy T day!
So pleaded that you took the photos on the bathroom, it looks great with all those paintings. I liked the look of your delicious Meat loaf and dessert.
Happy T day

That looks like a super yummy meal!! I love meatloaf but just don't fix it often. I remember well the joy of a short work week :) Glad your long weekend was enjoyable. We don't have any leaf color here at all yet which is very unusual. Love the way they did that bathroom!! Very cool!
Glad you shared those bathroom photos Erika.
They are too good not to share!
I have been known to snap a photo or two of a nice bathroom LOL.
Usually when I ask Mr M what the Men's looked like he says nothing special.
I could have made a meal of those yummy vegies and the mashed potatoes.
We often share desserts too Yum!
Happy T Day from crisp and cool Virginia oxo
oh my I love your post today - it really made me smile! The sign outside the diner is so funny and oh that hot fudge sundae looks so so delicious - yum! And the bathroom is amazing and so much fun! Wishing you a Happy T Day! J :-)
p.s. Thanks for your kind comments on my blog and Happy Anniversary for the weekend! :-).
That bathroom is hysterical! What a great job they did painting everything.
So many diners are cleverly decorated these days, I guess to compete with the big boys......but I am also one who enjoys diner food.....hubby?....not so much. BUT I think that is one of his favorite meals...meatloaf, potatoes and gravy....LOL!
Happy T-day and have a great week!
How cool is that place!!! I think I would have tried to take a peek in the men's room as well...oh did I saw that out loud? HA!
Happy T day!
Wow that bathroom was unique!!! I wonder if the artist signed it anywhere?? Your meal looks yummy and that sundae definitely needed three spoons...lol ! Happy happy Tday!! Hugs! deb
Oh yes! That bathroom was worth photographing. How fab is that! I love it! So very original, and beautifully done, with a sense of humour. I was wondering too about the men's bathroom. Couldn't you send your hubby to have a look?
Your dinner looks yum. Just the sort of thing when you're hungry. I would order that too.
Happy T-Day and thank you for visiting,
Have a good week,
Blessings,
Lisca
Your meal looks great! Glad to see that I'm not the only one who takes photos in restrooms! I would have done the same here! Hugs, Chrisx
I've never seen a bathroom like this, how fantastic. Only trouble is people would stay in much longer to admire everything, haha!
Even the towel is painted.
I've had internet problems and missed tea this week, but this place is cute as can be -inside and out. Meatloaf's not my thing, but anyplace with that on the menu will have food I'll enjoy.
That's the coolest bathroom I've ever seen! Very good painting technique and such fun. Can you imagine all the smiles of the women who walk in there, not suspecting something like this?
Sounds like the fall color tour is a fun one. Loved that sign!
Great post - that restroom is really fabulous - shame you never found out about the mens room - well not you, but you know what I mean. If it was painted too, I bet it as well thought out :)
Looks a cool place to eat.
