Soup

Hi everyone.  Hope everyone is having a good day.
Today I have another journal age for Chris's challenge at Art Journal Journey, 101 Ways to Keep Warm.  We had some wintery weather the other day and it made it a good night for a bowl of soup. I make a mean bowl of cream of tomato soup, and nothing is better on a snowy night that some soup to warm you right down to your bones.
And I forgot yesterday to link this to Try It On Tuesday. The latest challenge is Home Sweet Home, and I think my page is all about home and homemade yumminess.
This is how it looked before I left for work the next morning.
But there was gorgeous morning sky, before it went grey and stayed grey all day.

But luckily it was warm enough that 90% of the snow melted. It's just too early for winter in my mind, but maybe not in Mother Nature's mind.
Thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit.

What a fabulous looking tomato soup in a really beautiful bowl! I also love how you have created that snow on the window glass!
You won't believe it but I have just had a tomato - carot- cabbage soup 10 minutes ago as it is lunchtime here and since nobody is at home today except of me and the dogs I just ate it straight out of the tupperware bowl that I used to warm it in the microwave....
Oh gosh - good that the snow melted again , absolutely too soon for snow - I am with you.
But that sky looks like a poem!
Thank you for another fantastic page linked to AJJ dear Erika!
It is a lovely painting - you are such a good Mixed Media painter!
Happy Evening! Hope you had a good day at school!

Wonderful photos, we haven't had any snow here yet, it's just grey and rainy. Love the journal page, soup is always the best to warm up, and I have some chicken noodle soup planned for my lunch today. Have a great day, keep warm, hugs, Valerie

Soup is so comforting. Great idea for the journal page. I never would have thought of that. I'm glad you got snow and we didn't. =^,.^= Waaay too early for snow.

When I got sick, my grandmother made me creamed tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. I still love that combination to this day. This is fabulous and a super AJJ entry, too.

You really DID get snow, didn't you! Glad it is mostly gone now, and hopefully it will warm up before the weekend.

Wow, that morning sky is so magical! I could just look at the pink sky all day and be happy ๐Ÿ˜. I loved seeing the snow although I'm sure it's nicer to look at than travel in ...lol ๐Ÿ˜‰. I'm loving your mama's tomato soup too, it's a very fitting page for AJJ and the perfect way to keep warm on a cold snowy day! Hope you are having a lovely week! J ๐Ÿ˜Š

A great page Erika and I love the snowy pictures. We're having a few days in Budapest where it's strangely milder than the UK I'd expected snow here!

I adore your soup page. So cheerful and fun and warm. And the photos -- wow. Don't know which I love most -- the glaze of snow outside or that fabulous pink sky. Both are wonderful.

No snow so far here in the Nashua, Nh area, Erika. While I did envy your snow photos and that lovely sky, truth is I can be patient a bit longer as we will be traveling to NJ next week.

Love your page and the red pot. Soup is definitely comfort food. Beautiful photos, thank goodness no snow here yet. It's pretty and I live a good dusting, but I can wait๐Ÿ˜‰
