Wishing You a Year of Adventures

Hi everyone.
So January is just about  history. Only a few hours  to go and February will be here.
And I am excited to say I did it. I had a goal to link up a page every day during my month long term as hostess for Art Journal Journey.
Thirty-one pages. Thirty one adventures.
And before I get too wrapped up in my own success, I want to once again thank Susi and Elizabeth for having me as hostess.
And I also want to send out a HUGE thank you to all of you who linked up and joined in the fun. Your adventures were amazing and inspiring. I enjoyed visiting all your pages and all the adventures you shared. :) And to those of you who were new to AJJ, it was wonderful to meet you!
Thanks for being part of the fun.

And so my final journal page is my wish for you in 2018.
I hope you have a year with all kinds of good adventures.

Looks as though it was a hugely successful AJJ month - I've been seeing great pages everywhere. I love this adventure page... I should like to be setting off into the wilderness, though my own adventure is to set off to the busiest city in the world again for three months... Ah well, can't complain! Fabulous warm colours and a great sense of adventure, and bravo on getting a page a day done for January.

This is a really terrific last piece for your theme. I just love that little bus off on its adventures into the mountains.
Well done for making something everyday, as well as visiting each of the many entrants.
Have a good February!

I was absolutely thrilled about January and big congrats to have reached your goal of linking 31 Adventures to the collection!
You were a mind-blowing hostess Erika!
Thank you very much!
I was impressed with all your ideas and your cool and creative way to put all into practice! This last lovely adventurous page is no exception. Wonderful bright colors and artsy composition! I think that it not just only was an adventure for us and you but we and you learned much during this month as well. Techniques, ideas and so much more and we grew in making art and blogging community! ♥♥♥
I send you for this month a last BIG THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I had mentioned it before but I want to say it once more- it must be a pleasure to have you as a teacher♥♥♥
You know for sure how to inspire and how to encourage people to take delight in learning!

The absolute perfect way to end your reign as host at Art Journal Journey. You have been the perfect host this month, sharing your art, but also visiting everyone who shared their adventure, too. I am so glad I don't have to follow YOU as host in February. You are definitely a hard act to follow. Thanks for being such a gracious host in January, dear Erika.

Kudos to you for completing your challenge. I never seem to be able to keep up with those things. The road to my house is paved with good intentions, and we know where that leads. I love this travel adventure page. Certainly sums up how my year began with the Eldest's move to Pennsylvania.

First of all, congrats to you for completing what you set out to do, no mean feat on top of a no doubt busy teaching schedule! As someone who does not normally participate in challenge blogs aside from those where I am a DT member, I think I linked up at least twice to AJJ this month because I loved your theme and since starting to follow you have really enjoyed seeing your different art and other adventures. This last page is no exception! Love it's vibrancy and may the adventures continue!!

I love your "finale" piece -- and what an accomplishment to have something for every day. I couldn't do it. But you aced it and well. Bravo!

Your page looks like it should be on a NH brochure or website for tourist. I really like it.

What a brilliant last post of the month Erika, you were amazing posting everyday, I always find that hard on the one or two occassions I've managed that and now every AJJ person after will find that hard to follow :)
Have a great February and great weekend... Gill xx
