I've Got Hearts

Another weekend is about over, BUT the Superbowl is still to be played, so I will be glued to the TV shortly. I spent my day having some art time and watching the Puppybowl. (For those who may not know what the Pupprbowl is:The Puppybowl is a tv show where there are some adorable puppies playing with each other and toys on a studio football field.  When one of the puppies runs with a toy over the touchdown line, it's a score. There's lots of silly puns and it's just a good time to oo and ah of the cuties.)
It's been a relaxing grey day, and I hope our team tonight doesn't drive my husband to bake cookies, which he only does when the superbowl doesn't go so well.
So one of the art pieces I made today was a tag for the latest Tag Tuesday theme: Have a Heart.
I found these foamy conversation heart stickers in the dollar aisle at Target a few weeks back and thought they were a lot of fun.  I decided to go for a pink and tradition look, so I covered my tag with tape and ribbon.  I don't know if you can read my token, so here's a close up.

Making this tag reminds me I need to get some of these candies for my hubby who just loves them. Now me, I'd rather have chocolate. :)
Hope everyone had a great weekend and are ready for the new week.

Hi Oh I love your tag-very fun and I love those little candies too which I have not bought in many years-maybe I will this month.
I watched the kitten bowl on hallmark and then got busy and didn't catch the puppy bowl-they are both so much fun.
Good luck with your super bowl team!
I am not watching this year--Happy Sunday Kathy

Cute tag. I loved the conversation hearts when I was a kid, but now I'd rather have chocolate. I was going to watch the Kitten Bowl, but we don't get the Hallmark channel )-: I hope your hubby doesn't bake cookies. Go Pats!

There are less than 5 minutes to go in the Super Bowl and the Patriots are only leading by a single point, so now I'm wondering whether or not your husband will be baking chocolate chip cookies. I was never fond of those little chocolate hearts to eat them, but loved reading what they said.

Wow, these are wonderful conversation hearts. They are adorable and so is your tag. I love it.

I promise not to say anything about the Super Bowl, but Squiggles was on my lap when I jumped up and yelled after the interception. Looks like your hubby is baking cookies right about now. And the kitten bowl was SO much cuter than the Puppy Bowl. Some of those pups were HUGE compared to the tiny kittens. I DID like their DNA stats, though, which kittens didn't have. They did have an adorable half-time, though. And that sloth was unbelievable!

Have a super Monday, dear EriKa.

Love your tag with all the bright hearts. We used to get sweets like that when I was a kid, also with words on them, and they were called 'love-hearts', but I have never seen them here. Glad you enjoyed the puppy bowl, sounds like fun. Thanks for joining us at Tag Tuesday, much appreciated. Hugs, Valerie

A fun hearty tag, perfect for the chllenge.

I am sorry to say, not only did I now know what the puppy bowl was, I don't even know really what the super bowl is, even though everyone on social media seems to be talkng about it... I gather it's some big match, so I hope the right team won :o)

I fear your hubby baked cookies - except he is an "Eagles" fan - I watched some puppy bowl introductional YT videos --- I'd rather be a fan of that puppy bowl events for sure- as I have no glue of American Football rules at all. And an adorable Tag ... I am with you - I love color - but no colored candies - chocolate for me please!
Happy start of your week.
Here it is still cold as well.
And it was just one single daddy longleg I found yet. But I am sure spring will soon come along our line of latitude Erika. For sure!

Thank you for your description of the Puppybowl, because I've never heard about it! Your husband bakes cookies, when the superbowl doesn't go so well - that's a clever idea of him!
Your pink tag with the hearts is beautiful, also because of these words on them!
Wish you a nice week! Rike x

We caught the last few minutes of the Super Bowl. Exciting! I remember those candies from when I was little, but chocolate rules! Your tag, though, looks better for the colorful hearts :)

Very cute tag! Not my favorite candy but they are such fun to look at!

So, what cookies did your husband make? I passed on Super and Puppy bowls, but Lizzie and I did watch the Kitten Bowl! Too much purrfect cuteness!
