Inspired by a Piece of Paper

Happy new week everyone.
There's a little warm up and rain coming to start the week which will be nice, but I am not sure it will melt all the snow. Hopefully the melt won't all freeze later this week when the cold returns.
But I am excited for a little bit more warmth, even if it won't last long and brings some rain.
That is better than more snow.
So today I have a snowy journal page to share with you.  It all started when I found this wintery scene 6x6 inch paper in my holiday stash.
I first attached a blank time card onto my page and then added the paper. I added a scrap of music printed tissue paper to the bottom, and on that I stamped the children and snowman image.. Then I die cut the snowflake and also stamped some snowflakes. Finally I stamped the quote and then added the little gemstone snowflakes.
I am linking up to Yvonne's challenge at Art Journal Journey which is words and numbers.  There are definitely some words here.

Thanks for visiting.

What a beautiful, wintry scene you have created, wonderful! Hope it doesn't get too cold again. It's a bit warmer here, and very wet :(
Have a great week, hugs, Valerie

Rain is always better than snow, if you have to drive (I don´t anymore, but Hubby has to).
Nice to see yours, though!
Here, a hat, so cute!
We once made a snow-Easterbunny, as there was snow at that time (wayyyy back then).
ALDI made me buy snowflakes to put on the window, now, will I do that?

Your page would make a lovely Christmas card. Stay dry!

I like your wintry page, with that delightful snowman-building and the big snowflake in the foreground against that bare tree. Lovely!

We've got the rain, but snow is such a rarity here in Memphis that we look on it with excited anticipation :)

This page is absolutely beautiful Erika! Hope for you that the melt will not freeze later. I hope the same for us here as well, fortunately it is nearly in the 50° during the days and not freezing at night just now!
That's what I love!!!

Wow, what a wonderful wintery and snowy page! The colours are glorious, blue is my favourite and with all the beautiful collages elements you added there is so much beauty and detail to see - amazing 😀. Thanks for the inspiration and I hope you had a lovely weekend! Hugs, Jo x

What a delightful page Erika, I love the coldness of the blue which sets the scene perfectly. Good idea to have the children playing in the snow and enjoying themselves but to be honest I prefer the snow to stay on cards and paper rather than have it outside my house, I love those trees, are they on the paper to begin with or are they a diecut? Whatever, they are lovely.
Hugs, Neet xx
