Light at the End of the Tunnel

And it is a bright and encouraging light too. Can you see it?
Symbolically it will be 4 1/2 weeks when I arrive there, the door and the window at the end of the hall.
You can see some of my trash too. There's a couple of big boxes of it in the room too.
It took me six hours and lots of steps and stairs.

But project done. And it was a little sad but better to be there with no one else around. Because of Covid-19, we each have to sign up for a time so there is only 1 person on each wing of the building. And after a couple hours of cleaning and seeing everything else I still had to do, I just wanted to get it done.
The only ones around are the custodians, and after talking for a few miutes with the head custodian and the director or maintenance (socially distancing of course), it sounds like  school could be very different next year and maybe stressful (no definite plans are made yet) so yahoo, I won't have to deal with that.

And for art today, I want to show you a few more of my little spring pieces. I showed you a few this past Sunday. As they are a series , they share a few things.
Here's the couple I showed you this past Sunday.

And here's a few new ones.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by.

End of a chapter for you, but a new chapter as you turn the page. Your Spring pieces are very pretty especially the birds. I've been watching the birds flock to my birdfeeder. Take care.

Well, you certainly got enough movement at school. Glad you managed to get it finished. Things will surely be different in the future at school but you will be enjoying yourself at home! Love those pretty little art pieces you showed. Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

If I did that many stairs and steps, I’d be done in! It’s good for us, I guess, but I’m older. Hahaha

I do see the light at the end of the tunnel (hall). It must be a little bittersweet. I don't know what Connecticut's plans are for the next school year: this one will remain "online only" until the end of the school year in June. Your artwork is lovely. I hope you don't have possible snow lurking in your upcoming forecast. NOAA gives CT a 25% chance of a dusting Friday night. Ugh and very rare for CT in May. Hopefully it will be all rain instead.

I hope you looked through all the pieces you have labelled as trash with a view of'Can I use them for Crafting and art?' I'm sure you did.
it looks like you had a very busy day , all those steps and stairs. A good job completed by the sound of things.
Beautiful art pages, today's additions are awesome, i loved the words you added to them.
Stay safe and keep well, I hope you are now having a good relax at home .

Next year at the school will be a challenge you won't face. You've gotten so much accomplished as you move into your new life!

How good Erika, you have finally finished taking all your things. There are many steps! As you say, things will change a lot next school year, here there will also be many changes.
Your art pieces are wonderful. I like very much how you add flowers, the designs are great.
I wish you a very nice afternoon, stay safe and
Big hugs
Caty

That's a lot of steps -- and steps! Well done. I suspect there was a bit of emotion in doing this but it was probably a lot better to be on your own so you could just plow into it without distractions. There is a big light at the end of the tunnel. I think you are right that teaching will be very different next year in terms of stress and maybe even back to online for part of the year. It's a good time to be saying goodbye, even if a bit hard.

And I love all your art!

Oh Erika, you will have such a marvellous time and what a good time to be leaving.
Your Spring pieces are exquisite. I like all and especially the ones with the birds.
I am going to have a lovely wander through the blog posts I have missed and I am looking forward too to seeing all your new work and hearing about your travels (eventually).
Love,
Sheila
