Keep It Simple

Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday to you.

I'm back today because it is already time for another challenge to begin at Try It On Tuesday.

First let me thank everyone who joined us for our Summer Blooms challenge of the last 2 weeks, and also thanks to Alison for being our guest designer.

Our new challenge for the next 2 weeks is

Keep It Simple.

I made a journal page using 3 colors of acrylic paint. I started with a small blob of paint that I spread with a palette knife. Once that dried I stamped the heart image 3 times. Then I added a die cut flower and finally I stamped the quote.

What could be simpler?

Be sure to check out the other design teams pieces for some inspiration. This challenge runs to 2 weeks, and all types of art are accepted.

I look forward to seeing your Keep It Simple cards and other art pieces over at Try It on Tuesday.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

You did a splendid job keeping things simple -- and very pretty in the process, Erika. I love the colors and the layered look.

Love this one!
Yesterday I sat on the balcony and after a sketch the paper sat there, the leaves made a great (sadly moving) pattern.
Maybe I could join with that next Tuesday.
Maybe, though, it is too simple ;-)
Hugs from here.

Love the choice of colours in the background with the black stamping and die cut flower, and I love that quote.
The Art Park looks an interesting place by your photos, but I can understand how it wouldn't be hubby's 'thing'
Hope you're enjoying the weekend.
