The Journey Continues

Friday has arrived way too quickly! I have a busy day ahead of me. I am off to Boston to the hospital where my husband will have his kidney transplant-hopefully this fall or winter. I've made it through step 1 as a donor and today I go out to see what happens during step 2.
Hopefully all will go well with that.
So today I have connected journal pages to show you.  I am linking them to Paint Party Friday. Thanks to Eva and Kirsten for hosting.
I am also linking to Art Journal Journey. Thanks to Susi and Valerie for hosting.
So yesterday I posted this journal page. It is the start of this story that I am trying to weave.
So today I have 3 new pages to show you that continue this story.
I used a  Brusho's and paint stamped background. I created the postage stamps by printing out some photos, then cutting them out with stamp edged fancy scissors. Then I took a white pen and colored the eedged to make them look like stamps. I also created the postcard using a stamp I had and then cutting the paper out into a postcard sized item.
This is the second new page. I used a plain piece of watercolor paper. Then I added a Gelli printed piece of deli paper, painted the yellow edgeing, and also the blueberry circles. I due cut and painted the leaves, and added a stamped postmarks.
Here's a close up of the note.
And today's final piece is this one above. It's a Brusho background with some stamped images (B Line Design and Postmodern Stamp).. I also used a couple of ancient Hero Art stamps to make the 2 postage stamps. Here's a close up of the little note and this third page.

So my stargazer lily is looking phenomenal right now.

So many blooms on one plant. Oh my!
So stop by and check out all the interesting and creative journeys on both of these websites.
Hope you all have something exciting or if not exciting something wonderful planned for the weekend ahead.
And
thanks for stopping by my blog too.

First I said a prayer for you and your husband that all will go well in this situation. Your art journal pages are wonderful, full of layers and images, so much to look at. Your lilies are awesome. You need to add that photo to your your journal! Beautiful.

Your art is beautiful, Erika. I am hearing more and more about Brusho. I wonder if there is a way to make it myself. I have tubes of dried watercolor paint from 40 years ago.
