It's Feeling Like late Fall

Happy Saturday everyone. It is cloudy with some wet weather coming in for the day. And it is cold, so our wet weather may start off as snow or ice. Oh boy.
But whatever falls from the sky, it is the weekend and I squeezed in my morning walk. My plan is to stay home today and I have a big to do list so whatever I end up filling with my with, the weather shouldn't affect anything.
How about a spread from the smaller of my 2 Halloween journals? I couldn't get the book to lay flat and this page is in very back,  so you'll have to excise that in my photo.
I create a little interest I folded these 2 pages over so they are more narrow than the full spread. You can see that here.
The light really make the gold eyes on this paper tape glow on the top of the page.
On the left side I used some TH paper and I cut out the faces and created the background. Then I added the die cut  and  little wooden bat. On the right side I used some background paper, some funky eye tape, this fringey trim nd a Halloween image that was in my stash.
I am going to link up to Art Journal Journey and Linda's Creature Challenge. I am also going to link up to Try It On Tuesday and their Trick or Treat, It's Halloween challenge.
Hope you have wonderful weekend.

snow and ice? Oh I feel for you! Noreaster weather here and although quite windy and chilly it's just rain. Fab Halloween inspired pages! I love those vintage images with the bats and spooky page on the right. Those faces look like they fit right in:):) I also love those glowing eyes on the right. Thanks for being so supportive this month- and always- at AJJ! Have a great weekend!

Stay warm and dry today. No snow as it’s too early. Love the hunched over Frank. He looks tired. He must have watched all 18 innings of the World Series. Enjoy your day

I hope you enjoyed your Saturday Erika - we girls have so much to do at home always-- a day or weekend at home is a gift for us, am I right?! I know this: The days fly by and nothing is made what is on my To Do list even though I am really a busy girl! Is this because I get older? I don't know!
I love this clever special effect you made with the folded over pages. Cool ! Looks a bit like a junk journal with inserts or something like this... really cool! Great to see the pages linked to Try It On Tuesday and Art Journal Journey!

Thank you very much!

Have a great weekend and enjoy it at home. Here we had wonderful weather yesterday but now it changed totally to rain and grey ...

Indoor time... I am glad the most is done in the garden and I have processed the most of our apples meanwhile, so I will for sure have more Art Journaling time in November... at least I hope so and will try to make much time for Art Journaling.... but I am way too slowly I fear!

Big hugs, Susi

Wonderful journal page, love the gold eyes. It's cold and wet here, too, good weather for watching scary films and enjoying pumpkin soup. Hugs, Valerie

Ooooh!!! The golden eyes!!! Somehow these are mega spooky and I'm not sure about that pumpkin, it looks a bit evil. Great frightening page, Erika, and I love the idea of a Halloween journal. Funny seeing the purple person playing behind the page.

It was a cool day but I enjoyed it over the heAt we had. I am so sorry for not visiting...I just fell off my game. I love these pages with the Frankenstein on the one page with those old photos. Love the mummy coming out from behind the spooky pumpkin page. Great look!

I was so impressed with this, Erika. I have a book that won't lie flat, either, so I understand. This is spooky, quirky, and fun. I love it, and love that you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey, too. BTW, my old Windows based computer used to let me know when the time was going to change. Imagine my surprise when I saw we had one as I was leaving messages this morning.
