It's Still the Season

Happy Saturday! This year is winding down quickly, isn't it? I'm back to join Bleubeard and Elizabeth with another entry for this month's Tis the Season/Your Favorite Season over at Art Journal Journey.  These are some end pages from my December journal. They both have a winter theme.
Even though I must admit winter is my least favorite season, it is still needed in the cycle of the year. I just wish it wasn't so long, which it is here in New Hampshire.
I alos set up this year in review page with all these journal cards I had in my stash.  It is the season for doing that, isn't it?

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Thanks for visiting!

Lovely pages, you are good in keeping your journals. I am not a great winter fan either, I prefer autumn. I'm just waiting for my veggie soup to be finished, I am hungry! Have a great weekend, too, hugs, Valerie

Clever year in review spread, too. I love the birds on the page. Warm weather this morning and no birds at the feeder. No complaints from me. I'd be happy to go through the Winter with mild temps and no snow. Enjoy the weekend

Beautiful winter pages! You captured the season beautifully and I like your idea of writing a review of the year, I do that too - it helps me appreciate all that I have to be thankful for 😁. Happy Saturday and sending you wishes for a Happy New Year! Big hugs J 😊 x

These are gorgeous winter pages, Erika. Your use of various materials, some of which I suspect were recycled, are fantastic. Winter and summer are my least favorite seasons, but like you, I have to give them props. I also really like your journal year in review pages, too. Thank you beyond belief for being such a great contributor to Art Journal Journey through the year, and this month too by celebrating my theme at Art Journal Journey.

I love your winter scene with the birds. I enjoy watching the birds all times of the year, but they need us more during the cold days of winter. The year is passing quickly, isn't it! I haven't done a review of the year in ages and have never done one like yours. It looks like a good system for highlighting the memories :)

A great page Erika, I've not managed to join in AJJ this month - 2 days left -
maybe?? Only just getting back into my craft room and catching up.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year

Wonderful pages Erika, you have used great images for winter on them.
This year is closing so fast, but I think we still have a lot of winter months yet to come.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Love these last two pages, the review page is a super clever idea and it looks great!! There are things I love about every season, though Autumn is probably my favourite.
Happy weekend!

Writing a reviwe of your year? Super idea and so pretty with these cards! The first spread is so lovely ! I am really impressed with your special December journal Erika! It turned out beautifully and it was a great pleasure for me and I am sure for the girls at Art Journal Journey as well to see all the lovely pages you shared! Thank you very much for all your amazing entries this month!

Great pages to finish off the month and the year, Elizabeth. I've been reviewing the year in writing rather than an art journal. But yes, this is the time ;-)

All the best of the season to you. Hugs, Eileen
