Colors of the Rainbow

Happy Tuesday everyone. It is already time for a new challenge over at Try It On Tuesday
For the next two weeks it's all about the  Colors of the Rainbow!
I made my page a rainbow colored garden. The background is blue because flowers love blue skies and sunshine. Then I used some plain origami paper I had to die cut assorted flowers and leaves, and then then I lined them up in a kind of rainbow colored arrangement.
I hope you find a little time to make a colorful piece of art and join us at Try It On Tuesday. Remember all kinds of art are accepted: cards, tags, journaling,  3 dimensional pieces.
And if you've never been by the site, stop by and see what it's all about.
I can't wait to see your colorful creations.

And I am also going to link up my page to Chris' challenge at Art Journal Journey. This month the challenge is We're All Going and today's trip is to visit a colorful garden.

My garden is looking pretty good right now. Look at my roses. They might not be all the colors of my journal page garden but I am thrilled with how they are blooming.

They really like this spot up against the house. Now if only this could last all summer? They usually do this right around now and then the flowers peter out and I get some, but not this massive bloom like I am having this year.

Hope you have some flowers in your life right now. They are definitely one of the best parts of summer.

Your garden is filled with a rainbow of colors. It's a fabulous journal page, Erika. It's also very similar to your REAL garden. I love your rainbow of floral colors. Great use of the prompt.

Fabulous 'in your face' colours, Erika - gorgeous! Love the way you used those flowers, obviously inspired by your own colourful, blooming garden, which looks wonderful. Excellent!

Your art piece is lovely. And your flowers look fantastic: beautiful roses. All of the flowers I planted (years ago) bloom in the Spring, then that's it for me with flowers. But I usually get a hanging basket, so I have those blooms the rest of the summer. (I have pink trumpet flower type plants. I should try to photograph them to share.) The humidity finally dropped for a few days, but by the end of the week, I think we're going to get hot again. Ugh.

What a lovely rainbow of flowers you have shown us for your journal page. They almost echo the flowers in your garden which is a cornucopia of beautiful colour.
Well done on the gardening skills as well as the journalling.
