Halloween Collage Day 3

 Hi there everyone.

It is almost Halloween so today's spread from my Mystery, Mayhem and Magic altered book has definitely a more mayhem or scary feel.

Too bad my quote is too hard to read here. It talks about the witching time of night, and it is on acetate.

I don't know what this woman is more afraid of: the death card or the bug on the next page.

There are lots of lines here, especially all those in the spiderwebs on the right, so I have another page for Chris' Hold the Line challenge at Art Journal Journey.
I definitely think my Mystery, Mayhem and Magic altered book isn't the most cohesive book I have ever made. My pages go from fun fairies to autumn to some spooky pages, like this one.  Yet I must say it is fun to make a book that covers all these things that happen in October.
That's all for me. I am in birthday binge right now. Not mine, but yesterday was my husband's and today is my daughter's. She and her beau are coming  to celebrate tonight, so I am off to make her birthday cake. Well not a cake but a key lime pie, her favorite. And yesterday I made a Boston cream pie for my husband as that is his favorite.  I'll share next T day. Just preparing those of you who stop by for some more food photos.
Have a great end of your week.

Mystery, Mayhem and Magic is a wide range, so it's no wonder your book has such variety. Happy birthdays to your family :)

I really LIKE how your pages go from subtle to spooky in your MM&M book. It does seem to cover all of October that way. I like this latest entry for the card, the woman, and of course the bug. I like how you made everything cohesive, too.

My grandmother made a pie every Sunday. If we had company, she would learn the guest's favorite pie and make it for them. Her crusts were SO flaky and I've NEVER had a crust as good as hers. I say all that because I think it's great that you made your husband's favorite pie and will make your daughter's favorite pie for their birthday bashes. I also prefer pie to cake on my birthday. It's such a loving and considerate thought. Stay in birthday mode, dear. Enjoy your times together, too.

Oh I loooooove this! This gives me a Harry potter feel dear Erika! Especially with the feather quill, it gives a magical effect and not just pure spooks. That Lady sure is a cute addition which gives me more spooks in addition to that death card (I can;t stare at it actually HAHA) scardey me! Hugs dearest Erika!

The bug, the bug! That would make me run! (We have two skeletons in the bedroom, cute guys, keep away any monsters!).
And who does not love bats! Awwww. Great page!

Happy birthday to your wonderful family! And I love your pages. All of them -- it doesn't matter that some are fun, some are mayhem! They're all delightful.

Great scary pages, Erika. I love the cutouts and wonder if you did them by hand. Julie Balzer does that a lot. It looks very cool, but it's too much work for me! Happy birthdays and Happy Halloween! Hugs, Eileen
