Hi everyone. Happy weekend. It's very very cold at my house this morning. And there's wind, making it even chillier. They say it feels around 5 degrees F/ -15 degrees C. I think it's a good day to run the woodstove, sit besides it and read as well as running the oven to finish baking some cookies ❤
Today I have a page for Sharon's Snow theme over at Art Journal Journey. I'm also linking up to Gillena's Sunday Smiles. You can see the snow on the house image I used on my page.
I covered my page with some printed architectural paper. The house is from a Stamperia chipboard set. There's other ephemera on my page like the old postage stamps, the TH girl and word box, an AALL and Create little puppy and old number sticker as well as some red fabric ric-rac trim along the bottom. I stamped the postmarks around the old stamps.
Not much else for today's post, so it's going to be a very short one. Have a super rest of your weekend and start to this holiday week.

That's a very beautiful and festive vintage page!
Pretty cold here too. When I went out early yesterday morning it was minus 12.5 degrees C and wasn’t much warmer around noon. It’s winter after all, in Ontario and New Hampshire. It’s to be expected, or at least that’s the way it used to be! Welcome to the first day of increasing daylight. Spring is on the way! All the best - David
...Erika, I love your storybook house decorate for Christmas. Take care and be warm and well.
Love that house design!
I love your creation! It is lovely. It is 31 degrees here this morning. My dog and kitty are very happy to come inside. This Oklahoma weather is crazy and this afternoon it will be 50 degrees.
Lovely page!
Very good time of year to snuggle near the fire and keep warm. Read a book, have a cuppa. All good things. Big huggs and Happy Christmas.
Today is a perfect day to sit by the woodstove and eat fresh baked cookies! Stay warm
What a wonderful page with your brick house that looks so cozy and decorated nicely for Christmas! Love the old-fashioned details with your paper doll and postage stamps too! Enjoy the time baking with the warmth and wonderful smells! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Very, very cute. I wish you and yours a very Merry, old fashioned Christmas with loads of love, hugs
Lovely snow journal page
Thanks for linking to SundaySmiles
Much❤️💚love
I absolutely adore your vintage page, Erika! The background paper looks great and the red house really pops against it. I love the "Hello! Children" sign, too, along with the rick-rack at the bottom. Heck, I love the entire page!!!! Thank you so much for joining AJJ for my snow theme this month. YAY! Hugs, Sharon
That is a very nice page.
I hope you've had a good weekend, enjoy the holiday season.
All the best Jan
Just calling by for a catch up Erika and enjoyed my visit.
Hope you and the family have a good Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Yvonne
Ugh, still that cold? We are coming out of a string of cold days (for us) but all this week we'll be 10-15 degrees warmer. Hopefully you will be too. Your page reminds me of the old-timey magazine ads. I mean, who doesn't want a dollhouse from Santa, lol. I like the dark red, green, grey and white accents together, XOX
That is wonderful page, i love the Art!
Merry Christmas
Hug Elke
Loved this page...
Love your page Erika, that's a great house that you used and I love the background paper. It all sets the scene for your little girl and her dog who are out and about ready for Christmas.
Hugs, Neet xx
Happy Christmas to you and yours xx
Beautiful art page. Belated Merry Christmas. The temperatures have been going between bitterly cold and "not as" bitterly cold where I am in CT. Overnight tonight the forecast says freezing rain, which is probably the most hazardous forecast one can have during Winter.
