Part 1: The Mess
A lot of flooring got done yesterday when Dave took the day off. You can see (well sort of see) under all the things in this picture right above these words. It looks GREAT! Today Dave is home too, although not having Brian to work with. Maybe the kitchen will get finished or some of the detail work. I HOPE.
Part 2: My Breakfast
As we have not stove or counter space and the frig is hooked up in the diningroom, which means no water in the kitchen sink as we had to discount the ice/water filters...we went out to eat at our local place-Johnson's steak and seafood. They had blueberry pie-made with those tiny native berries-YUMMY! Had to have it. But by dessert time the gusy were SO beat we came home and they luckily packed it for me in 2 parts, so I could come home and just store it all util today. Voila! Breakfast. The best breakfast in ages. (Pie is such a great breakfast treat every once and awhile...like the day after Thanksgiving.)
Part 3: A little bit of art/journal pages
Here's a couple of journal/scrap pages from last years trip-still at Lassen national Park. It was SOOO hot there-in the 90's, but still a bit of snow here and there. I like the whimsy in the bottom one with the palm tree and silly bird from Hero Arts stamps.
Part 4: Today
Street fair day- a giant yard sale to benefit the hospital up in Wolfeboro. Dave's working on the floor some more. Humidity is gone and it seems like it'll be a nice day. The mess is still in the house. I want to go scrap awhile but took a nice walk and had my pie...oh its still so yummy...I can taste it...anyhow...
