This Week's Art

Wow- I cannot believe it is Friday already. I spent my most of my week in a 4 day intensive baking class in Vermont at King Arthur Flour. It was lots of fun, and I learned a whole lot of things I didn't know (and I thought I knew quite a bit-but I think all 12 of us in class felt the same way). The class was taught by  2 different pastry chefs so we learned some professional techniques to make us better home bakers.
But today's post isn't about food so I will share with you 3 journal pages.
I am linking in with  Paint Party Friday which is hosted by Kristen and Eva and also to Art Journal Journey which is hosted by Valerie and Susi. Thanks to all of those ladies for hosting.
This month's theme at Art Journal Journey is post and postage. I've been creating this little letter writing story between 2 people, Lizzie and Wally. If you've read any of the others. here are the next 3 installments. Of course if you haven't, you can just look at these as 3 journal pages with a postage theme.
This top page is a page from Wally's journal. The we have a letter Lizzie writes to Wally. She goes to Paris looking for him and the third piece is about that.
But again, if you aren't following, none of those details really matter at all.

With my baking class and traveling to and from Vermont (and staying there a part of the week too), I have done a lot of art this week.  But today I am hanging low and plan on some paint play!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

What a fascinating idea with the story. I will go back and read it in order. All the pieces here are so interesting with all the details, I especially like the little bird with his leaf.
